I have always wanted to try a jury rigged Ether injection system on a beater rally or demolition derby car. All you would need is some hose, a rattlecan fogger nozzle, a lever and string system, and a can of starting fluid. I have never had a motor I wanted to blow up, so I never tried it, but I think if I was going to shove a leafblower on the end of an air intake, I don't think I would be above a rattle can of ether or a ghetto "whipped cream refill" NO2 setup.
