izzo
90 bucks is a good deal, webers are easy to install. Just remember tho, to put a little rtv on the gasket for the intake to head. And when putting the weber on the manifold, dont crank the bolts down so much it cracks the adapter plate. depending on your intake manifold now, you could just install the weber/adapter right on the current one installed. Looks like someone painted that carb with silver paint tho :\ Quote Link to comment
kaoss
I would never give $90 for that bed spread. 1 Quote Link to comment

MicroMachinery
You pretty much paid $90 for the carb, adapter, and air filter, which isn't a bad deal if the weber doesn't need rebuilding. Those intake manifolds are a dime a dozen. You might want to make sure also that that 2nd stud hole in the adapter plate isn't stripped out.. I see that it's missing a stud. If you are going to use the intake, I'm sure this goes without saying; get that paint removed. Blech. Nice table cloth, by the way. ;) Quote Link to comment

banzai510(hainz)
Most DGV or DCOES havent been made in Italy for a long time. Most are made in Spain. Never heard of being made in Mexico. The Spanish ones are fine as I have one. I heard of soem EMPI weber clones made in china. But never seen them myself. Weber carbs Direct has 32/36 DGV 5A which is a manual choke. I just heard somewhere to steer clear of them. nismo dr had an empi, it was a pos... even with a nice lokar cable it would bind up on itself all the time. Quote Link to comment
Shagy
I think I'll email redline and ask them where they get theirs... Quote Link to comment
Doctoraudio
Man , just put it on and see how it runs. If you really want to rebuild it first then go ahead! But for the manifold, I was told they could go for anywhere from 25- 50 bucks. The carb is 275 new. So you got them both for 90 bucks, good deal! I was going to sell my carb and adapter for like a 100 bucks. I say good deal! Quote Link to comment
