Brake lines

What size are the hard lines on 620's? I read somewhere it was some type of British threads. I was going to order a roll of line but i need to know what size of tubing and what size fittings too. Can the stainless lines be double flared? Is the stainless too brittle for this?

Dunno the size, but I'd expect the threads to be metric not British.

 

As for double flaring stainless brake lines, Let Me Google That For You.

Stainless is a ROYAL BITCH to work with.If you flush your system evry year,stainless lines become a moot point.

stainless or not i need to know the size, and about the double flaring on them i was just askign if anyone had any experience, I heard someone say that the stainless may be a bit too brittle to properly flare. thanks

The line size is 3/16"

3/16 single flare 10mm 1.0 pitch is the stock size

I agree with all of that except for the "single" flair.......I'm pretty sure it's double flair......maybe that was just an oops. I've always double flaired them.

Yea double flare. :D for some reason I had an style fittings in my head stainless is really not bad to use if ya got a real nice flair tool. With those stupid ones ya get at the auto parts stores etc never work! It always smashes the tube off to one side or flairs it wrong so it leaks. I ended up buying pre made lines for the rear of my wagon cause the shit was leaking everywhere!
