VintageRice
Alright, I bought the wheels today. But went to bolt them on and the stock studs arent long enough to get a regular lugnut on. Also the holes are oversized. I assume I need special lugnuts?? I have some lugnuts from my 280zx struts but they are to big and dont fit into the holes in the wheels. Are the 240z lugnuts different still???? Help! OCIS of the wheels. Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
zx lug nuts are truck lug nuts as in the shank is .75" in diameter. Normal shank, or mag, lug nuts are .68" in diameter. Your local store should have them. Quote Link to comment
DISLEXICDIME
Take a wheel with you to the tire shop and have them get you the lug's. You will need long shank lugs and washer's MAKEA SURE you install the washers the right way Quote Link to comment

The way you said MAKE SURE kinda freaks me out. What exactly will happen if I put them on wrong?? Just curious. I promise to do it right. :D Quote Link to comment
DISLEXICDIME
They can come loose. And they make nasty cut's in the aluminum. I also cracked a wheel wheel on time when I put the washer on back words and over tighten the lug. Quote Link to comment
VintageRice
I guess I answered my own request. :D Quote Link to comment
