Great thread! A good friend of mine is a well known LA DJ from back in the day, and he's made me some of the best mixes ever. Definitely some of my favorites are from the early/mid 90's- Dre, Cypress Hill, Kurupt, Whoridas, Beatnuts, Souls of Mischief, Kam, Warren G, Masta Ace Inc., Westside Connect, the list goes on and on...but by far my favorites songs to ride to are those of Quik and Pac, with some Zapp and Roger thrown in for good measure.
