Laecaon
^^^^^^^ > Rotas, Wats , and Panas.. Just sayin. I cant stand wheels with 8 holes. Make it for 1 lug pattern, not 2. ugly. Quote Link to comment

Papi Chulo
I don't see any logic in spending $2k+ on wheels for a $1,200 20+yr old import econ car that only gets hardparked at meets. Bragging rights? Cool factor? Oh hey guys have you seen my new wallet, it's made out of T-rex. Quote Link to comment

Well... rota wheels might actually be status wheels to them... Quote Link to comment
The Dat-side
IF i can ever afford a set, it'd be the cool factor. Quote Link to comment
bonvo
i love my wheels and i got them for free Quote Link to comment
FoxyRoadster
I really like the gold center ones  The real work equip 01's aren't that costly, I kinda lol'd as google shopping shows the rotas for 500 ea and the work equips for 400 ea. Hell, I got a set in 13" for 600 total which will be going on my vdub. Quote Link to comment

So when they have some in datsun lug pattern I might consider it To me this is rota's biggest downfall, they have everything in 4x100 but hondas and Miatas aren't exactly the biggest markets for old school wheels.... It pisses me off. Quote Link to comment

Stupid_fast
Dunno about you guys, but I'ma save up for some P45r's for my toyota... hella... hella... *acho!* Cant blame them much for doing 4x100. Even my Enkei's are 4x100... Wheel adapters FTW Quote Link to comment
69FJWagon
I agree with this. It's even worse when some one see's some Hayashis and thinks they're Rota knock offs. I wish the real thing was easier to get ahold of stateside. IMHO, the real thing looks better. I have a set of Hyashi streets for sale 14x6 +15 and they have the centerc caps I payed $390 + shipping for them I will sell them for the same if anyone is interested PM me unfortunatly I cant fit them on any of our cars because of the brake kit... :( Quote Link to comment
datsun723
I've got no problem with them making reproductions. Let everyone play is what I say  Although...if there is a significant weight/strength difference I could see why you'd want the real ones instead of the knockoffs but if it's just for your old project car who the hell cares? "Well...mine are REAL. Ok...well, with the money I SAVED I bought a 55'' LCD TV." I'd rather have wheels+awesome t.v. VS real wheels lol. Quote Link to comment
PurePontiacKid
I like how I don't think anyone makes a knockoff of my wheels :D Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
I like the knock off stars more... I like how the spokes are skinnier. Quote Link to comment
