Tacomaboy
Just wondering if any has ventured in that direction. KA backed by 5 spd. 11.5 lb flywheel stock clutch pack. Ive driven a few rigs with a cable clutch. They do give a bit more mmmm real time feeling under foot. Any thoughts. Thanks Mike. Quote Link to comment

Tacomaboy
Yea , any action has an equal reaction.... But a cable or mech. linkage does seem to me at least give more feel for engagement. Again the question is . Has any one explored this option? Quote Link to comment

Dguy210
Mechanical clutch linkages suck. I worked on/replaced a friends cable in her old Volvo. The hydraulic system is/feels so much nicer, and no readjustments for cable stretch. Quote Link to comment
izzo
I had a cable on my 90 sentra, it was ok but sometimes worked itself loose and the clutch would be in a different spot. I like this hydraulic much better. But to each his own, good luck with it. Quote Link to comment

Tacomaboy
So the answer then is no one has tried in this direction. I will probably follow suit, after looking at the Sentra set-up. Thanks to all. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Mechanical would be a nightmare of linkages. The clutch arm is on the pass side too. Another problem to face is the body is solid and the tranny moves with engine torque. This can bind the linkage action. Quote Link to comment
