gcmustang
Got the rear seat back from the upholsterer. RATDAT3 did a nice job on this. The seat had completely rotted away so new backing and foam had to be made. More pictures of interior will be added when front seats, door panels and new carpet all are made. Quote Link to comment
RATDAT3
Thanks Greg, I should have the 2 fronts done by Friday. Quote Link to comment
420n620
if you don't mind me asking, what did you charge to do all that work. looks nice. Quote Link to comment
RATDAT3
Well, the Ratsun price is $200 a seat to cover, extra if it need foam or build up or spring repair. The shop I worked at would charge $300 a front w/o build up and $350 for rear. Thanks for the compliment. Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
The factory installation for the rear seat cushion involves a horsehair pad on the transmission hump. I would recommend a slab of black motorcycle seat cushion foam instead. Quote Link to comment
RATDAT3
;)Foam will compress to much and wear out. Use carpet pad or Dynamat. Last longer and wont rot like the horse hair. Quote Link to comment
gcmustang
Thought I would add some before pictures of the seat so eveyone can see how bad they were and what was done to make them nice again. I am so looking forward to the fronts being done. He will then do the door panels for me. Quote Link to comment
gcmustang
Here are a couple before and after on the front seat. The afters look better in person than the picture show. They look great. Thanks to RATDAT3 for the great work. Next up the door panels. Everyone is going to love the custom touch that is being put on them Quote Link to comment
