Jester
OK. I am about to put the exhaust back on my L16. I noticed that the head is aluminum. Is this factory for the '71? I tried searching here for info but couldn't find anything. Intake ports are round and the exhaust ports are rectangular. Thoughts???? Also, are there any yearly, bi-yearly Datsun swapmeets in Oregon? Thanks in advance for any help. Jester Quote Link to comment
kiznook
yes, aluminum head. they all are. Some L series heads have round exhaust ports, some have square. as for swap meets, datsuns northwest? hosts one every so often in wilsonville. then there's canby, not primarily a swap meet, but it is a good portion of the weekend. Datsun mecca. but only once a year. Some folks buy and sell at the blue lake show too, but not as much. hope that helps. KEEP READING!! Quote Link to comment

mklotz70
Jester....DatsunsNW is the club that puts on the Canby event and we do try to have swap meets several times a year. If you'd like to be added to the club email list, PM me and I can add you. You'll get them all....including the meeting minutes and such. If you just want to keep a look out for them, the info is usually posted on the club's Yahoo group and the website. http://www.datsunsnw.org/ http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/DatsunsNW/ Quote Link to comment
