Skib
I helped Kamakaze620 fix his pass from suspension on the truck (hit a curb and bent it all up) and getting that bushing out is the biggest PITA and most ppl just suggested what they did. beat on it a BFH and chisel for a few hours lol so hes a little thing on how we got it out like butter........ after hours of hammer wailing that didnt do us any good <_< the arm was a bent up so we just hacked it off to get out of the way the bolt running threw the bushings inter sleeve was bent to so we just burned out the rubber after trying to beat it out with a hammer and getting nothing lol took the sawzall to the outer sleeve of the bushing the cut gave it enough relief that after a few smacks it popped right out. all this stuff was preceded by tons of hammering a away with no results (the fucked up part of the sleeve is where we tried to chisel it out) Quote Link to comment
Skib
lube it all up and hammer in your new one (the part was listed "obsolete" at baxters btw and there is ONE left in there system.) then put your suspension back together :D and have victory pizza! Quote Link to comment

motavated
The link here tell you of another and possibly easier way to take them off. Very simple really... http://community.ratsun.net/topic/4014-my-project/page__view__findpost__p__259062 Here is the picture of my general idea... Putten them on! Process of taking it off! Off! I just got a pipe bigger than the bushing hole, A large threaded rod, washers around the same diameter as the bushing.... and some bolts and a ratchet.... You tighten the threaded rod and pop goes the bushing.... You can use your feet to "kick the ratchet" and make your life easier... OR! you can work out your pecs buy pushing up on the ratchet! Depending you you set it up... Here is another drawing... 1 Quote Link to comment
