Optimum Valve Lash 210 head

I know the factory recommendations for valve lash but I know some other people have gotten a quieter motor with a closer tolerance. What does everyone recommend?

try .006 .008 cold if L series 210(L16 head)

Is that a "210" casting "L" series head or is that a 210 "A" series head?

Cars list says a 510, so I'm gonna guess an L 210 cast head.

But if anyone has the same answer for an A 210 head, I'd love you forever:) My engines louder up front then at the rear.

Sorry guys, I wasnt watching this one closely. Yeah it is an L16 with 210 head.

 

mine is real noisy, I had just got it running with the new 32/36 in it. Timing was around 0* when I got a light on it and adjusted that so now I am working on quieting it down and replacing a couple of gaskets while cleaning it up.
