410/411/520 headlight retaining ring screws

Recommended Posts

Once upon a time, M4 -.75 was commonly used. Seem to have disappeared after Oct '68.

Looking for at least 4 (will take more if ya got 'em) headlight retaining ring screws, size M4 -.75. They came on the 410, 411 and pre-Oct '68 520's. The latter 520's and everything else use a different screw, probably M4 - .70.

Thanks.

if you still can't find any, i've got a 66 520 core support w/head light rings attached

I buy stainless steel sheet metal screws from Home Depot. They fit and look just fine. Assuming you mean the screws that hold the surround, not the screws used to align the headlights, which were SAE, not metric, on the 410 and 411 models.

No, I mean the retaining ring screws.

Wrong screw. That's for the chrome trim to bucket/surround.
