datsun65
Here in Houston, the 50th Autorama was held over Thanksgiving weekend. The Autorama is usually the pinnacle of Custom rods and classics. Check out this crazy nice 620 which appeared this year! Is in Owned by Bob, a die hard Datsun fan from Upstate New York. He bought this truck in 1982 and has been building it ever since. He also owns a NL320 and 67 520. Here are a few pics: .. Edited November 30, 2009 by datsun65 Update Title Quote Link to comment

slam_dat_sun
I do not get it , why are they calling it a 1974 when clearly the king cab was produced 77-79 I believe ....... Non the less it is a real nice truck Quote Link to comment
datsun65
The owner, Bob, explained that it was originally a single cab, but he found the king cab body in a Junk Yard in the 80's and decided to use it. This is when he got into full build mode on his truck. Edited November 30, 2009 by datsun65 Quote Link to comment

I just like seeing our datto's displayed correctly  Quote Link to comment
fisch
I don't know what is crazier. That badarse little truck, or the fact that there is an NL320 in NY!!!!! Probably one of a handful in all of new england! Quote Link to comment
datsun65
I see it is a legit 1974 I had the same question in my mind when discussing with the owner! there is an NL320 in NY!!!!! Bob mentioned he drove the truck over 1200 miles home (it has a A-Series Engine) when he first bought it! He said the tires were completely thrashed after the long trip home. Quote Link to comment
Mr. Squirrel
How on earth did he get this beast in Houston. Did he have a massive trailor and I hope he didn't drive that all the way from NEW YORK. I couldn't imagine the gas and the sound of those tires all the way from over there. Also it has a chevy engine. Thats still nice. Quote Link to comment
