banzai510(hainz) Posted November 11, 2009 Report Share Posted November 11, 2009 the big notch is Zero where you would line it up doing the timming chain and distributor install(always set to Zero on crank). then every mark is 5 deg as it says in the Haynes manual up to 20deg. using a timming light you would set it to about 10 or depending on what motor/ehicle you have what the book says to time it to. banzai510(hainz) Posted November 12, 2009 Report Share Posted November 12, 2009 if you have a open chamber head like a U67 W58 W69 or soemthing like that they will have RUN ON with a Weber carb. stock later Nissan carb had a cut off selinoid to cut the gas off to prevent this. try Premium gas and see if that helps Quote Link to comment
