Really though, research the 280zx? alternator swap or even the saturn alternator swap. Use the search function, this has been discussed many times.:D The Saturn swap is even a sticky on here somewhere. Quote Link to comment

Skib Posted November 9, 2009 Report Share Posted November 9, 2009 I just stuck a ZX 60amp (IR) in the goon. Mate 2 sets of wires on the external regulator wiring and your good to go. I got a few different mounts to find one that fits, wired the alt up as usual and followed the wiring instructions to remove the external regulator from the dime quarterly tech section.
