Electric pumps are designed for race cars where every ounce of parasitic loss needs to be eliminated.Absolutely no benefit on a street driven car.

With a street car an electric water pump is actually a bigger parasitic loss than a belt-driven one. It has to derive the power from the alternator, which just transfers the load from one pulley to another, and the energy conversion loses more power in the process.

For a pure drag-race car, you don't run an alternator at all in that scenario. The water pump (and everything else electric) is run straight off a battery. Since the run-time is so short, there's no risk of running down the battery.

Now, there is an advantage at high-RPMs, as the electric water pump runs constant-load. It's less efficient though when the engine is at low-RPMs to normal RPMs up to, say, 5000 RPM where the belt losses and cavitation of a mechanical pump become greater. It also has the advantage of being able to pump when the engine is off, which is valuable for a race engine that might not see proper cool-down time The electric will keep circulating coolant until everything neutralized.
