hoov100
bleeders go up. But you could bleed them, by putting a c-clamp on the piston, un bolting the caliper and raising the caliper up enough so that bleeder is higher then the line. Quote Link to comment
SHADY280
yup bleeders up, swap them for safety sake Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I had frozen bleeders... snapped them off. No prob, I took them off and removed the inlet hose and filled them through the hole, allowing the air to escape. Datsuns are easy to work on. Quote Link to comment
inline4
yup bleeders up, swap them for safety sake well... they never bit like I thought they should. being backwards might be why :o Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
so who installed them is the question http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q251/datzenmike/ROFL.gif[/img]"] I don't think this will improve 'bite'. That only applies to leading and trailing brake shoes on drums. Quote Link to comment
bonvo
but if theres air in the system the pedal will be softer and the brakes will grab later i think this is what hes talking about Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
If you can't tell if the bleeder is on top or not...maybe you shouldn't work on your own brakes. Quote Link to comment
hoov100
put the wrench down and step away from the vehicle.... Quote Link to comment
inline4
I wasnt the one who installed the calipers... it was agentalpha :o and yeah, I think there's residual air. front brakes are 280zx and the rears are single piston wilwoods. I have to pump twice to get decent grab Quote Link to comment
