Skib Posted September 11, 2009 Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 got this in the garage a few days ago :D an AE86 coupe with a black top 4A-GE, 20 valve/ITB's/11:1 comp did a major engine bay clean up and fix the rats nest tweaker wiring job :mellow: the sad part is that the swap was done by a shop for the PO and they where lazy as shit about it :rolleyes: cost the PO 3k to do too :eek: the WO was still in the glove box Quote Link to comment

Skib Posted September 11, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 11, 2009 (edited) the WO was for Ground Zero Motorsports in Portland, not sure of the complete history but the wiring is terrible, the ECU is just sitting under the pass carpet, some of the stuff looks like they used extra stuff they found around the shop. lol on the WO theres a charge for a coolant over flow tank and hose for $35, its a stock honda tank :rolleyes:. there was a fan temp control box mounted in the grill area, right in the middle fot he lower rad. support. great idea to have electrical components right where your going to be getting all your outdoor elements of driving and 5 in off the ground :mellow: Edited September 11, 2009 by Skib Quote Link to comment

Still slow, but a lot of fun! I stay the hell away from all shops after my first and last bad experience with a chevy sprint going into Gaynor's in hazel dell with 3 cyl and coming back with 2 and a $350 bill for....umm....yea time to learn some shit.
