New acquisition!!

Picked this up in trade for a truck that I basically had $400 dollars in. It's got 31000 original miles on it and cleans up real nice..I'll get some pics after I give her a good cleaning....

Sad thing is, if it was in the same state as my 280 it would be worth probably 1/2 as much more than the Z.

Air-cooled vw is the only german car worth caring for in the least amount.

 

bugs/beetles/things/bus/fast back/square back.....etc any vw without a waterpump and if it is rear engine is super sick in my book!

Cant beat a beetle for ease to work on.

Except for maybe a ghia. Never worked on one, but the old man says he prefers them since there's a place in the engine bay for you to put your beer. Now that's forward thinking! :lol:
