Well with a 12V system I doubt youd fry it if ya hooked it up backwards ( similar to speaker wires, etc). Youve got red/black, you need, input/ground. Take the horn, and some ear plugs id assume, and touch them to ur battery. but just a quick tap. Thatll help you find the polarity of the wires. Id bet the black is ground. In most wiring situations, if those are your options, the black tends to be ground.

If the stock horn only had one wire to it, your green/white, then it was probly self grounded to the chassis and the green/white is ur power.

Only police and emergency vehicles are allowed to use sirens. Probably really illegal to use it, beware.

Also it doesn't shut off right away and continues for like 30 seconds after releasing the button. More than enough time for the cop to walk up to your car after pulling you over. "Where you going? To a fire?"

ha! Like someone would be using it while driving.

I thought of it only as an accessory for a car alarm.

Ground the black to the mount of the siren and hook the red wire to the stock horn wire.

Have you noticed we do have a lot of weirdo's here. :D
