its worth a try.

 

if you sand blast it then you will need to resurface it for sure :eek:

that will just gouge a machined surface

 

it dosent NEED to be done, I would just do it personally. It was working perfectly fine in my daily driver 240

get a hold of Otts friction there in Portland they redid my clutch and flywheel for me i went with a kevlar re-pucked clutch and they reworked my pressure plate and resurfaced my flywheel all for a 150.........

 

 

its what they do, i guarantee a way better job than any napa shop

I would really recommend resurfacing when installing a new clutch unless your really trying to keep it cheap. Especially if you want to avoid pulling a trans down the road. Resurfacing a flywheel cost me 50. 5 years ago. A dealership quoted me 35. the other day but you know how that goes.
