  1. Let me tell you why I think no one can buy cars from the junkyard. Sometimes yards will place a lien on the car and report it as scrap. that way the state can give the junkyard a title just to junk it.
  2. Well.... Made my first major purchase for this car. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121111203470?item=121111203470&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME:B:BOC:MOTORS:1123&vxp=mtr
  3. I wonder if it will fit over a 6 cylinder dizzy and make it act like a 4 banger....
  4. You can always grind it down but I would not risk it man. I just bought a matchbox instead... I will wait until the kit come over. The center magnet will not fit if its the wrong distributor. You can then experiment from there.
  5. this is the one you need. If it is not like this. No worky... Check it out.
  6. Honestly it only cost me 47$ to do it. Just might get lucky and pay the non-op and put it in your name. I did go to a outside source where they do dmv work for a "fee". But they wanted 700$!!!!! I man-up and went to the dmv to face it head on.
  7. First of all. You got to make damn sure it has no owner. I made a mistake of buying a car with out even checking! I could of lost the car. SO! You get the vin, you go to the highway patrol or the dmv to check out that vin. OR! You can go online to check if it is still in the system by using the DMV website. Then! You figure out who's land is it on and ask the owner of that land to give you a bill of sale. Then you take that datsun and you register it to the dmv. If it has back fees, you pay them. If it out of the system, you just pay the registration fee. A chp and or peace officer will be checking up on that vin to see if its been tampered or stolen... So if its cut or tampered, i would not fuck with it. IF YOU HAVE AAA that would make shit easier... They can do everything for you... You don't even need the dmv at all until they have to check out the vin.
  8. ... seems like I cant reply to threads no more. Stupid mods blocked me. What I said earlier was I was interested. But! I am looking for rims right now. Not talking crap about your tread. Good price! Just really need some wheels on my Z.
  9. and you make holes in the metal...
  10. You know.... There is a l20b 720 in the Wilmington pick your part. I was looking for this tread to let you know... Condition? Unknown. GOOD LUCK!
  11. She has been running fine! The other day the thermostat gasket started to leak so I cleaned that up and reinstalled... One thing I noticed is the way the horns suck! so I went to the junkyard at the half off sale and I got me these babies. THEY ARE LOUD! another thing i noticed is how lame these crap pinto shocks I have. Super soft suspension! So i bought me some of these... Best I seen for the pinto set up. 80$ shipped is pretty sick. I also got a wire harness to install H4 lights and fogs. this kit. so going to wire her up and ground her good. So she is a DD and she runs great! I just hate that she gets 15mpg...
  12. Still think about keeping her or not. Money is tight and so on. Only thing done to it is planning this shit out and buy the ignition keys. XD Pics of the engine coming soon.
  13. PIMP! Now trying to figure how to take my old one out. Dremel might be the answer. Thanks!

  16. I have an l16 with a rebuilt a87 close chambered head and a new head gasket, and gasket kit. The head was pressure washed, hot tanked, vacuum checked and pressured. New chain, tensioner, and guides, Offy intake might be included if the price is right.
  17. When you go to an alignment shop and to rebuild a king pin suspension and reinstall is cheaper than two ball joints installed for a 2003 mustang.
  18. motavated

    Wet L18!

huh? I got some extra head bolts. Come pick them up if yours did break.
  19. will these work on a 620? Nope! I think your rear end is all removable while mine is all welded on.
