I should have posted this a while ago BUT if you have the clearance a larger hp-3001 type/size will fit engine,but i seriously don`t know if a bigger filter works any better.And big fatty wheels/tires would look change whole look of car,,,for the good,,,

My opinion would be don`t change intake,because you`ll have to get most of hoses the cold start plumbing (different sides) throttle postion switch points a different direction and change all the alphabet switches just my opinionnote tbs aren`t the same length and pcv system not even the same.

I run dex/merc trans fluid in my wifes 88 7m-gte (owned about 12 years) with no probs.I think that the toyota head gasket kit is really spendy but it did have EVERYTHING in it when i did her old 87 7m-ge.....which then developed a rod knock 6 months later...

All the front end stuff is still there,it has DRUM brakes I can`t get parts to Oregon, I live by a town called Littlerock WA it`s only about 1@20 minutes from Portland. im here most of the time days/nights

510 is brothers,he ran the wheels off his 521 couple years ago (and he`s been ache-ing to be back in an old Datsun) so I traded this old dude a 93 mercury topaz for it -I think he has put it in his will to be buried in it.

I think your leg work answered my question enough to at least get axles and cvs cause i don`t have the money to buy 200+ dollar axles and NEW cvs and machine work all at once (cars just not that nice and or powerful)THANKS!!

The 510 realm thread says 1980-1990 axles will 91 not work or are they just not tested??Have line on some free.
