atsu ... all that's left of mine

  2. Anyone know if there's a difference between the thread pitch from the Z20e oil pressure switch threads and L20b threads? I know L is 1/8 bpt just need to verify before I order my adapter for my L20b
  3. Just a start, have you verified that the fuse is good? Only reason I ask is because I've done the same thing and overlooked that before. I know nothing of any additional fuse that would be in there.
  4. FYI, if you haven't already painted it and still need primer, Duplicolor adhesion promoter (in the brown can with clear lid) is some pretty amazing stuff. My buddy used it on his Enkies and I think it's some of the best looking rattle can I'd ever seen. Looks pro
  5. With or without headlight retainers rings or trim rings. Don't need anything perfect for my purpose, I'll be modifying them for ellipsoids. Just would like to also have a good pair in my parts stash in case. Cheaper is better. Thanks
  6. Nissan sells them for around $60ish a set
  7. I'll get to you shortly! I need to plan that out in my finances and i'll probably be very interested in that :P Thanks man! PM incoming!!
  8. Seriously rolling at some of Gizoogle's translations. Basically, post a link to any webpage in the link below and it translates it to some gangsta shit yo! http://gizoogle.net/tranzizzle.php Some pages look a little fucked up, but still readable. Wikipedia for example: http://gizoogle.net/tranzizzle.php?search=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FDatsun&se=Go+Git+Dis+Shiznit
  9. Easiest to unbolt the brackets from the frame rails on both sides of the radiators. Then you have 4 bolts on the back side of the bumper. Probably rusty so good luck.
  10. Thanks for the machining info XNKE! I did end up getting the stage 1 Exedy, and I'll be having a flywheel machined soon
  11. I think the compression ratio is probably too high for me to be comfortable with it. I could probably rebuild the u67 head with bigger valves and be okay
  12. She volunteered  Ordered some CHEAP LED lights off of Ebay for some additional brakelights. I don't feel like the stock stuff is very bright :poke: I haven't picked out a good high mount light for the camper shell yet.... but this is what I have that's going to be mounted low. When I get a little extra cash, I'll replace all the brakelights with GOOD LED stuff. And then install my flasher module. Super cheap, so it's worth trying out. http://www.ebay.com/itm/180826522829?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  13.   NAWWW fuck that lol Our view of the beach isn't bad from here. Me and the GF walked a little way down the beach but it's FREEZING right now so we went to the heated pool
  14. It's pretty warm here :fu: Better then GA! When we left ATL it was starting to snow. We're literally on a condo along the beach a few floors up so we have a pretty good view.
  15. This truck is awesome! And I can vouche for the seller personally. GLWS Alex!
  16. Nevermind, got my kit in from AZ, all good stuff. All made in Japan so it must be good :fu:
  17. I should be back in time to get the LZ23 swap parts finished up and ready to go in! Damn what a great few weeks coming up
  18. Currently on the road with the GF, friend and his Gf on the way to Myrtel Beach South Carolina for a week's worth of shenanigans :fu: Were cruising in a nice 06 STI and gonna be there in a few hours. Got a beach side condo right around all the antique shops :fu: making time to go look at Datsun at the same time. Hell yeah!
  19. Correct! I think we decided the compression with the closed A87 would come up to about 9:1 with the dished pistons. The Z20 had two different sets of rods iirc. The ones in this motor are different then L20b and are about 6'' long. The truck will be hitting the dyno for before/after results.
  20. I haven't honestly even touched the tires since I had the idea  Speaking of which, I replaced the rear 205/60 with a 225/50 so it's a LOT nicer now and a ton smoother! Also confirmed truck is getting LZ23 stroker soon! Give me about a month-2 and it should be in with a freshly rebuilt 5 speed! LZ23 = Z20E block Z22 crank Z20 long rods 86mm dished forged Mahle pistons A87 Closed Chamber .460 Racer Brown Cam Big Z valves and to top it off for now, A 32/36, Until I can afford to get a side draft 45 DCOE. I have about $600 worth of parts that came in today. Exedy Stage 1 clutch, clutchless waterpump, trans bearing/seal/synchro kit, 12'' fan w/ thermostat, etc.
