  1. Damn man that thing is EASILY worth what your selling it for. Wish I had some spare cash. I love me a 720
  2. Can't beat that good ole' Disturbed So I said fuck the Datsun today and got to work on the motorcycle project again. Fuel was stale and nasty. Took forever to get it to run at all. Only runny on one cyl most of the time. You can see the Sunny behind it. lol ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350">
  3. Welcome to Ratsun. The best damn car forum period!
  4. Really? I didn't know there was that much involved with a cam swap on an A15. Where can I get a flywheel for it?
  5. I'm in the process of building up my A15 in my Sunny, and I need to know some opinions on this. I'm working off a low budget, so any advice on how to save money would be appreciated. The plan is to build a decent amount of N/A horsepower. -So far, I've killed all the emissions and installed a new MSD Blaster 3 coil on my electronic dizzy. I got a 32/36 Weber DGAV to install as well as plans on the drawing board for a custom header based off my stock exhaust manifold and glasspack to finish it off. -As far as valve train, what should I look for? I'm planning on pulling the head this summer and rebuilding the head, lapping the valves, new valve seals, etc. Should I consider stronger valve springs as well? Or are the stock one's okay on an N/A engine? I don't really plan on revving beyond 6500 -What are your opinion's on re-ground cams over new cams? I know I can save a ton of money by having a cam reground instead of buying a new cam. -I need to try and avoid pulling the engine. I have too many problems as is with the county code enforcement, and I can't risk any violation's. Pulling the engine would draw a little too much attention. Sorry about all the questions, I'm kind of a noob when it comes down to A-series and I don't want to kill anything.
  6. Damn man :( It sucks that the rotary is dead. I like rotary engines. But it gives you tons more excuses to put an L series back in ;)

    Nothin wrong with that. lol
  8. 3 years is a longgggg time. Welcome back! Make sure you post new pics to go along with it ;)
  9. That's nice. The rims just look BEAUTIFUL on that car. Truly classy.
  10. Quick walkaround video of the project.
  11. One thing I've noticed with these stock Hitachi carb's is that the choke pull-off diaphragm has a tendency to wear and eventually will not work properly and leaks vacuum.
  12. Yeah, that was my bad. I wasn't thinking about it at the time, but if it was an 84-85 it would have had the scoop on the hood driver side for the intercooler. '87 Seems more accurate.
  13. Nice pics guys. Didn't realize we had so many guys out here in Georgia! Wish I coulda have made it out there this year.

  16. The only Beck/Arnley parts that I have are tie rod ends, and they seem to be pretty good. Haven't done much driving on them, so time will tell. No engine parts though.
  17. X2 I think you just about covered all the possible problems there. lol
  18. Yeah, you can tell the differences between pictures as well. The car looks like the rear flares farther then the shiro, not to mention the black handles, non color-matched rims and automatic. I love the Shiro look. Surely unique for the time.
  19. Scratch that!! Can't be a Shiro unless the door handles have been painted. "In 1988, the turbocharged Shiro Special debuted with pearl white paint, stiffer springs and matched shocks, heavy-duty anti-sway bars, a unique front air dam, paint matched wheels, Recaro seats with matching door panels, painted bumperettes, white painted doorhandles and a viscous, limited-slipdifferential. No other options were available for the Shiro, meaning all Shiros were identical. It was the fastest car out of Japan, capable of 153 mph (246 km/h) speeds, as tested by Motor Trend with the electronic speed limiter disabled.[2] A total of 1002 Shiro Special Z31s were produced for the US market between January and March 1988.[3] The Shiro Special is the rarest Nissan made Special Edition Z." From wikipedia.
  20. You know, i didn't think about that. It does look pretty damn close to a Shiro. Wasn't the Shiro available in auto though? Or was it strictly manual?
  21. Tire squealing is a datto sound :D I heard it a few days ago This better? lol ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350">
  22. Cool little 240. One of my favs! ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"> What my Sunny will sounds like when I put the Cherrybomb on her. ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350">
