Hey man, L motors aren't too hard to come by in GA. L20b's are kind of harder to find, but a good L18/L16 aren't too difficult. Have you ever built a motor before?

Where's that resistor at? I need to find mine. Fan only works on high.

We think we got it. About 90% sure on this one. Some stupid ass put 3 different injectors on it before. Surprised it ran at all. The injectors were loose on the harness and all of the clips were broken off, so we're gonna have to do some repairs to it. Cyl 3 injector has a crack down the side and isn't firing 90% of the time.

Yessir it will. Driveshaft length may be different, but it bolts to the motor.

Looking at this and thinking it could be really cool. Total of 4 halo's, could wire high beams (inner lights) to flash with turn signals and outers to come on with running lights.

Anyone ever bought one of these kits before? Screw that man, bust out those pistons and bore/hone the cylinders. Pistons can be found easier then a motor. I got a '73 CB175 K7 a few years back that we dug out of the woods with a siezed motor. We soaked the pistons in PB blaster and heated the cylinders up HOT and knocked the pistons out with a steel dolly. The bore was okay, so we honed it out, put in some $12 used pistons & rings from Ebay and that sucker ran like a top with a total of $50 spent between gaskets, pistons, and points. GET 'ER DONE!

I feel like glasspacks take away from a lot of the tone that the L series makes. Although, some of them can sound pretty damn good. http://youtu.be/XlbEr9kEYLA IMO, on L series chambered > glasspack.

Never seen them, but I'm not sure you'd want them. Aftermarket lens's like that are usually very cheap in quality. To be honest, I was convinced to go LED until I cleaned and polished the inside of my lens's and it made a world of a difference. Seems like a good quality lens is more important then light output.

^^Great ideas guys! Didn't even cross my mind to look at most of that. We're gonna run some 8 gauge grounds from dizzy pedstal to chassis and around the motor to chassis to see if it helps a tad. It's still cat equipped, but just passed emissions with flying colors so I'm not sure if that would lead us to look at cat as a possible issue. I didn't measure vacuum but that's going to be the next step from here. Compression can't be too great because it does smoke a tad bit.

There was no indication of a vacuum leak, in fact we replaced all the vacuum lines to be sure. Fuel pressure is unknown and will be the next step.

If that gas door opener doesn't sell please let me know ASAP!!!

Went to court today. I've been putting off repairs until I get through stage one and insurance looks at the truck. I plead NOT guilty and spoke to the assistant DA and prosecutor who both shook my hand and told me that in their 15 years with the state court, they have never seen someone with such a well presented case. I have another court date on the 30th of may however I'll be meeting with the judge, officer, and prosecutor before then to speak more on the matter. The lady has filed injuries after having her claim denied and told my adjuster over the phone (recorded) that she's filing injuries since her claim was denied. That's insurance fraud, so it's really not looking too good for her right now. As for the truck, she's doing okay. I got on partstrain.com to order a reproduction fender and found it was discontinued. so FUUUUCKKK my life... She's not too bad looking as is though.After Import Alliance next weekend. I'm starting the rest of the finishing body work and I'm painting her. I've picked up a ton of body hammers and dolly's. As she sits after two days of long, hard work:
