This is the first cast from a master I completed.. the final plate will be face milled for a flush fit and more detail put into the sanding and polishing.. the sides especially. the first one is always rough but I was happy to see how it turned out. inspection plate for an L-series head. I think I will start a thread in non-Datsun related topics with tips tricks and how-to.

YES DRAMA! I am a combat vet. My great uncle was killed fighting Japs in WW2 The rising sun flag is the current Japanese naval ensign... hangs on ships traveling in and out of Pearl Harbor Hawaii with no issues... think this badge will be fine on your rig or wherever you decide to hang it.. This badge will be a limited run as it is very time consuming to make. It takes about two and a half hours per casting + cost of fuel + shipping.. I posted them as inexpensively as I could to give people something cool to look at.. The next casting I'm going to produce will be finned head inspection plates and fuel pump deletes for the L block. I checked it out the other day and ended up buying two other datsuns from him. Good guy. I can take pictures on saturday. worst part, car has aftermarket moon roof hole.. solid body though.

with the shaved handles and color choice,I can only imagine bondo caked over rust holes.

I could see using rollers if you have a larger shop with one door and need to move it around to consolidate space.

Last I heard electric guitars weren't a recognised form of currency. I thought that was a goofy trade offer. What would I do with it, hang it on the wall? Anyway, saw this post, I figure the car will get whatever someone thinks its worth, I'm throwing in an extra long block, front end stuff, quarter panels, and some other extras. Started the bidding low with no reserve to leave the price up to public and person who wants it. About a month or two after buying this car from another Ratsun member, I found a more complete 71 510 waiting for a ka swap. Thats why this one is on the chopping block.

Anyone have a stock 13" wheel and tire? Would like to goto these meets , just having trouble locating a wheel! I'm used to Portland Craigslist, it's not as easy finding parts down here!
