For me, it would be keep the Dime. Some of the 240's are kinda cool(I know you said 180) but you see too many of them. and as Hainz said there is just something about getting thumbs up from guys young and old while driving around a cool Dime. But it is your car, so do what makes you happy.

Those springs were de arched but it was done in the mid eighties.So they have alot of miles on them, I know cause I was a high school kid when I bought it back in 94. if you look at the spring clamps, the rivet is on the bottom and the ears are on top

actually I may have taken those hinges off years ago, I think they were rattling around. So if your making it a tilt bed,are you welding up the walk thru?

On the extremem angle, have to watch out for hood clearance,radiator clearance, and the tranny would sit weird than too
