  1. yeah plus for $5-$6 a can of the stuff, it can go a long way in making lights yellow compared to more $ for the Merc lights.

    CARPET

    I made them
  3. You are correct! This came in the JY and as soon as it was put down there were guys all over it. I was looking for parts for Pac Coast Datsun (Mark's) friend since he had a KC...so I took it all from that.
  4. Nukeday: You're welcome! Frank (junk yard z 77): Your order is on its way to you! :)
  5. Honestly I don't even remember cutting it, if I did I busted out my dremel's cutting wheel on it but I've had it for a while now and can't remember. :P
  6. I used the Krylon stainded glass too. Here's a set I did and put on my old 521 that I sold:
  7. Ok Greg, I'll help you out AGAIN! :P Yeah I bought one of those you're talking about but in the end didn't like how it would look in my stock interior 68 wagon. So for now I'm center console-less in it but on my 2 door with 350Z and momo steering wheel I figured the hell with it and went with this vintage looking console.

    CARPET

So far no one that's bought a kit from me has used any glue or snaps to hold it in place. I have them on both my 510's and haven't had to deal with any issues of it moving on me. It's cut so that it allows the fitment to have the carpet as flat as possible with the curves of the transmission tunnel. Here's some pics of it installed on different 510's (all to my knowledge with no glue or anything) to give you a better idea. In XeroX's 510: In Skib's 510 wagon: Before carpet: After carpet In 70Goon's wagon: In my 2 door 510: In my 68 wagon: Before: Old nasty carpet that came with it. After Carpet: New and clean (well still needs a vacuum)
  9. Dude this (and the XHIBIT pic) seriously made me laugh out loud here at work...man I was thinking the same exact thing when I saw this thread title!
  10. Hey you're welcome and it looks great in there. Glad to hear you like it and happy it fits perfect with the extra material on the sides to cover your KA24DE 5 speed transmission tunnel! :)
  11. Nice140Y: Thanks man, I'm not anywhere near being satisfied with how the engine bay is but you only see it when the hood's open so there's plenty of time to get to it. :) Pac: Thanks amigo, I've made a much nicer looking one that I will swap it out with once I get some more mounting hardware. :)
  12. No joke, my wife has a day job where she makes 2/3 of what I do, then a side job she does from home on her computer on her spare time that she truly loves where she's first began making a few hundred bucks but it's grown to averaging $3,000 a month for the last 6 months but this is her best month where she's a few bucks away from more than doubling her average which is almost what we both make combined from our day jobs...so I am not complaining that she's not a car nut. She just asks that I take care of our 6 cars, while she takes care of 1/2 the bills, cooks, bakes, and cleans the house...so I call that more than fair. :)
  13. Nah...looks 'meaner' all blacked out...j/k. Here it is with the silver stripe back...but the center section was looking a little bare bones So...I was lucky enough to get my grubby hands on a uber-rare JDM Bluebird coupe emblem (borrowed from a friend in Japan) So I made myself a decent copy of it! :) Here's my blank made of high strenght/temp plastic: Beginning the masking/painting: Then came the detail painting: Than finally gave it the center grille honorary spot. The grille came with a like new GL badge but that's not to my liking!
  14. Well I've had this for about a year now so I figured on cleaning it up... Base color done:
  15. Actually I didn't. It broke last Sunday and I'm waiting for my new one to arrive in the mail. :(
  16. Just want to add that last time we held this meet we posted with only a few days before hand and still had a good turn out of sellers even though it was on the same weekend as the bigger swap meet in So Cal. Nothing going on this time around so there should be more sellers out there...so plan on coming out to buy/sell/show. See you guys there!
  17. Farmerjake, your carpet is on it's way to you. Just dropped it off at FedEx at 3:30pm. I have one carpet kit left ready for pickup or shipping. :)
  18. My place is small and all but if a few of you SoCal guys make it up I can host a few of you in my place. :)...I'd have to ask the 'boss' at home first but I'm sure it'd be ok.
  19. Farmerjake: Thanks for the payment, I'll ship your carpet later today if I can. 510Goofy: Sent you a PM.
  20. Hey Greg I have some rearview mirrors, let me dig them out this weekend and if my new dig. camera shows up I'll send you a pic or two.
  21. 510er, your carpet kit and stickers are on thier way to you. I'll PM your tracking number later on.
