  1. One of my Lenso wheels is bent. This is all of a sudden, I didn't think I hit anything except road bumps. This is why you dont buy fake fucking wheels. End of story. The worst part is that Lenso, are actually really good fakes, much better than Rota, and guess what, still bent. Moral of the story is if its cheap, thats what its worth. At least I didnt put them on the car though, They came with it I am now saving for a set of Honda Cromadoras and Brembo 4 pot calipers with a 5 lug swap and aluminum front control arms (all stock DC5R). Here are the wheels I want. They are made for Honda by Cromadora in Italy. Crazy nutbar +60 offset though which necessitates the Brembo swap http://www.ebay.com/itm/360721397676?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  2. It is not a fun job Ernie, but it is a lot easier than some cars, My 02 Civic SI is absolutely ridiculous to pull the dash, the shifter is mounted in the dash. If you do decide to eventually do it, I recommend restoring the heater box with new flapper foam. I washed mine in a dishwasher along with all my HVAC ducting in the dishwasher, and by hand with degreaser. I have a son who is only a year old, If I want to feel good about having him in this car, I need to have a sanitary interior with a disinfected air system. And in AZ, you gotta have AC. I dont understand how people do it without to be frank, its just too damn hot in the summer. If you do ever do the dash, at least this thread should make it a bit easier, lol. I have more updates coming, I moved into a new house over the last week, so the 910 is in a new home, and is much happier than my old nasty garage. I got the heater/control box installed and the defroster vents in. I need to get the evaporator core cleaned and installed, which is a bunch of sitting there with a wire removing grit and grime piece by piece. After that is done, the fan goes in and then the dash goes in.
  3. Better than the other two, hands down, always has been.
  4. Nice, I saw the first shelby ever off the assembly line a few weeks ago. It was awe inspiring. My friends dad does a bunch of work for Barrett Jackson and he had it in the shop. He told me it was the first one, ever. Kinda hard not to listen to someone who has a 1.6 million dollar Lola T70 sitting mere feet from the Shelby, (not to mention the McLaren MPs he had sitting there) The shop was so awe inspiring I didnt even get pictures, I will though.
  5. So, anyone see any 1st gen Maximas lately?
  6. Anyone else have the esperience of hating the Breaking Bad ending even more as time goes on?

The ending was really forced. I mean he probably wouldnt have died from that wound in real life.

considering the alternative, I think it was a great ending. They could have tried to tie up some more loose end but that would have just created more of them. Im glad theye didnt try to force it like dexter, or sons of anarchy

I only hate it cause it's over.

  7. Its frankly disgusting and disingenuous. It says to me "Hi, we're Nissan, and we know you recognize the car that this is very loosely based off of, and we know that it is hip right now, but...., Frankly, We no longer give a flying F#%K about the people that bought them originally, own them today, the people who really made Nissan what it is, or the people who still keep the history of Datsun/Nissan alive" and "here ya go hipster douchebags, enjoy, we know you will, cause we told you to"
  8. To me "strictly VIP" means not putting Rotas on it. It costs more to register these cars in japan than the base car is worth, do you think they would even consider rocking around on Rotas? No. Its really funny how we only want to copy things in looks, not function. In Japan, you would virtually never see one of these cars with fake wheels on it. But in Murica', nobody wants to be real and spend money on wheels that hold value, or worth a shit. Even though a set of REAL Enkei race spec wheels are like a grand and Rota are like 7-800.
  9. You guys are dicks. But what should I expect from Ratsun. I mean we wouldnt make Memes if Stirling Moss died. Maybe Jeremy Clarkson though......
  10. If yo uhad asked me yesterday "what celebrity's death would have the biggest effect on you?" I am nearly %100 sure that I would not have said Paul Walker. But today, I can not think of any celebrity's death that would effect me more. Its really sad, the world of car enthusiasm is actually rather small, its like losing a friend to some degree. I am planning next Saturday to sit around with friends, work on cars, watch F&F and drink Coronas.
  11. I think I need to go sob into a Corona.

  12. Its really ridiculous when you think about airbags For every one airbag that saves someones life, something like 2000 have to go off for no reason whatsoever. Additionally, the NHTSA was faced with a choice, either make drivers better, or put airbags in cars, I will let you figure out which they chose. Not to mention that making drivers better, would inevitably bring down fatality rates, but whatever. Then there was the 80's, when you either had to have an automatic seatbelt or an airbag to sell a car in the US. It is absolutely the Nanny society, "aww its okay if you cant drive, we'll make it so you cant hurt yourself or anyone else while your drigint terrible" And just a note, How many busses have airbags? and how many people are killed worldwide yearly in bus crashes??, lolol.
  13. it has a new valve cover casket too!. I would buy it probably, it looks really clean. I have been inside and out of my Maxima/910 and I would gladly go with you to take a look at it and give you my opinion. I am in Phoenix. PM me. If you get one we will be THREE Maxima guys in the valley!
  14. Ryan Dunn was a fucking moron, I had little sadness when he died, anyone driving drunk as hell like a maniac deserves what is coming to them. I actually met Ryan Dunn... Paul walker was a genuine car guy, and a really good person. This is terrible, I will admit that after the second one, I actually enjoyed FnF.
  15. Possibly, I have seen them around. I assume shipping to ozz would cost a few bucks though. Of course I see you have a 910 TRX....... I am always willing to trade for 910 parts.
  16. Alright I got the hoses, I ended up buying Dayco hose #s 87618 and 87756 (the one with the quick disconnect). I had to cut both down to fit correctly. I got them all on though and it looks likt it is going to fit almost exact. And I figured out the grommet, Thanks to the Z31 forum. The grommet is Toyota part #90480-01405, I might have to make the hole in the firewall about an eighth inch bigger around, but it apparently fits exact on a z31. The holes line up exactly with the water tube.
  17. This is an awesome project man!. How many did they bring over here anyway?
  18. Wait are you serious? I would love to (respectfully) talk to someone like him about these new cars, I would love to hear his take. I am sure we could all learn something.
  19. I am not so sure about these days, but DAAMN, every time I watch Wierd Science, I think "good god she was fine".
  20. I just laughed so hard I had a hernia. If only Toyota wasn't such a bad joke. Takes ten years to develop "japanese supercar" WITH Yamaha Gets smoked by GTR at 1/4 price with 1/3 the development time.
  21. Wow thats sexy. I doubt hes blown too many trannys Jrock, That is one thing Mercedes NEVER messes around with. Automatic transmissions, they are serious pieces of kit.
