  1. Oh reminds me of the "good old days" when i had more disposable income! 2007 performance driving school put on as a joint effort of a Miata club and NorCal UFO My old car, it donated all its goodness to the 69 green one i drive today.
  2. Rolling to JCCS with a Ranman72/Jacque!

      Hope to see you there

  3. Sounds awesome! You know, if Stoffregen Motorsports produced a low volume run of dual row 12V chain kits.... hahahahaha For the sake of simplicity I think I'll opt for Japan quality OEM style kit, they work just fine, just need the updated guides. The ones in the truck are fine at 177K miles.
  4. Hahaha, i meant to get back to you on that... sounds rather daunting, yet doable lol A higher quality Japanese made set runs $140... i am curious what the frankenchain setup would run
  5. Hey folks, I am forever a fan of OEM parts on engines, but this seems like a great deal....maybe too great? What do you think? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Timing-Chain-Water-Pump-Oil-Pump-Kit-for-89-97-Nissan-2-4L-SOHC-D21-Pickup-KA24E-/141369455086?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20ea46b1ee
  6. Awesome. I know where I'm getting my bar in the future.
  7. Hey Dave, I have heard that too much sway bar can effectively negate the benefits of independent suspension, i currently run a 7/8" bar with my L18, but am sourcing a KA24 soon, I run 10" 200lb front springs, will a 1.125" bar "function" properly?? Thanks!
  8. Well, this years fucked, too stretched with expenses pending an "abandon ship" situation at my apartment, ([ex]gf moved out stuck me with all bills), so, gonna have to skip 2014. Makes me has a sad but the car is having issues I cant solve in a timely manner either.... 2015 will be better than ever! With shit FIXED. Oh and Boaty and Brown (siqx20) will be there.
  9. I live in Pville as well, ill be there tonight =)
  10. Got everything put back together today, first impressions seem promising!
  11. nice work guys! In regards to wheel bearings, i always just used a nissan spec of 22ft lbs, maintained as you spin the hub and the bearings seat, then just cotter pin it and go. Never had hot hubs, or a bearing fail from it.
  12. Got the parts back, hot! Installed new Moog bushings Dave Carrol's T/C kit is still in GREAT shape after almost 7 years in service... New Moog 14mm ball joints, (upgrade on a '69) Mock up, far from done... TC rod mod as per Dave Carrol, allows caster gain, when paired with new NON POLY control arm bushings, allows for bind free caster adjustment. Like adjustable TC rods, for much less money!
  13. Thankfully it's a 1600 pound car on a front suspension for 3300 pound cars lol
  14. You didnt adjust the bearings further after i installed them? They were far from adjusted "for driving"...
  15. The door cards from T3 =) Managed to use a thread die to save the strut insert, got some new Nuts from T3 lawlz. And a good dose o AntiSeize. Took the Advice of Gabe at T3 and installed the struts with no bumpstops. I had problems in the past of hitting the huge ground control bumpers all the time.
  16. Could be where it had front end damage repaired way back in the day or something. SO COOL THOUGH, damn fine looking car, cant wait to see it!
  17. Did you see the link for the headlight wires i posted?
  18. Ahhhhhhhhhhh just swap em left for right, may require longer brake lines though..........
  19. Randy, this is what you need for the headlights. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/upd-34263/overview/
  20. I'm gonna try and save it, I have a thread die in that size.
