  1. sadly the roadster's last year too.
  2. just take the stock mounts, a welder, and some metal. Shouldn't be too complicated. Should have gone with a more bolt in swap if you're having trouble with this part.

  8. club4ag is a good place, I've bought a few set of jdm rims from there. I *Really* wish ratsun would get a wheels section.
  9. It will be a daily driver, so not really worried about the transmission being a 5 speed or an auto, just as long as it drives and is cheap. :lol:
  10. I agree on that lol fix everything with a wrench and rtv, but on the bright side might have scored me a cheap datto! :D

I'd say the last change was done in the early 2000's I'll have to check which one it is when I'm there as they said they replaced it once already and rtv'ed the fuck out of the thing which caused lots of rtv chunks in it..But from what I'm told it doesn't go into drive or reverse, has fluid showing full with good red color. The only real history I know on it is the original l16 blew up so they replaced it with another and the transmission that came with it also went in. The car drove fine for like 20 miles and stopped working and has sat since. I'm kinda thinking the transmission is fucked or something going on with the silicone all in the trans causing an issue but any other things that would cause the issue so I know what to at least look for as I don't know these cars that well and haven't found a whole lot on the auto's.
  12. I should just replace the auto trans with 5 speed but I figured I'd ask what are the most common issues with the 510 automatic transmissions not working? Since the weather sucks I cant go check out what the issue is so I thought I'd ask so I'd have some idea on what might be the issue ahead of time. Google has come on with nadda on this subject, best advise it offered was "swap the transmission!"
  13. Just tell him "worlds fastest Z car" those words alone will move anyone to give you an engine. :D lol though good luck on making it the fastest, I already think there are quite a few monsters on the loose.
  14. Just a random idea.. Could go to steelie wheels and see if someone here might buy the wheels you have so you can fix the issues if you end up not selling. :P Sorry I hate to see someone give up a good car they like.
  15. There are a few, a guy on the roadster forum was looking at swapping the GT-R engine into one but decided not to. (had pics too!)
  16. More weight though is a good thing with something that has that much power, hell might be able to shoot for a land speed record :lol:

  18. If you have a guess at how long each line is you can order stainless lines that just need bent from like summit or jegs.
  19. Well little more info, I dont think the rtv in the trans is the issue. It doesn't go when in drive... So I might be in the market for an auto trans. I'll worry about diagnosing it when I buy it.. I'll go ahead and try draining the trans and putting a new filter in first. Then if that fails then replace the bitch.

  21. Nah, the GF told me to keep them after the last deal fell through on what I wanted for them. lol I figured I'd end up with a car they would fit onto.. Man, I just realized I'm buying a car for a set of wheels to go onto. :lol:
  22. I plan on getting it once the snow clears up. I plan on just cleaning the car up, not doing much to it besides installing some Work Equip Type 1's I have in 13".
  23. First off, sorry no OIC's. I know you guys love the datto pr0ns as much as I do but been too snowy. I'm looking at a 4 door 510.. The rust free one fell out of my hands and was sold out west buuuut I found this one in a field.. Automatic but the transmission is *fucked* filled with RTV, engine is good and runs. I have zip experience with the automatic 510's, you guys think I should just replace the tranny or drain it and flush? Most likely will be the best 400 bucks ever spent, besides the 400 for my roadster.
  24. Sad to see it go... Just a heads up since your in texas, if you have some room there is a rust free Z shell for sale on craiglist in dallas.. Needs everything as its rolling rust free (from the pictures) chassis but if you space and like 500 bucks..
