Yea after some research and found out how expensive it is to build an A-series rat motor. I am sure it will be worth it. Oh yea, on a side note. Are you gonna sell me those 12in slots? I heard that you were thinking about selling them, and I want them in a bad way! I have been looking for some tires like those and am having no luck:(

So I put some cut 510 rear springs in the Pumpkn (Thanks Frank and Jeff) and they are awsome. Alot tighter but it still has an acceptable amount of travel. The ride height is a smidge lower and seems to make the front bite into corners even more! Happy Day! Now I need some good stiff shocks to take the bounce out of them.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get foreign body stuff for my car? I like the look of the Aus. and Japan stuff but I cant seem to find any. I want stuff like tail lights, grille and/or nose. There has to be a way to get that stuff! The search continues.

This Barracuda has a 2.0 mazda drivetran under it. Pappy made it. The car was actually pretty fast. I believe that my love for datsuns also sprouts from my MOPAR childhood. The mid 70s B210 coupes look so mutch like the Barracudas. I switched to Datsun cause they are more nimble. I drove this 65 New Yorker to High School. Note the factory clear tail lights. My childhood consisted of helping my dad build this 68 Road Runner aka "The Rouge Runner." Its a almost Hemi 440

A friend of mine just got a NX the motor code is GA16. She wants more power. It already has exhaust and an intake on it. What would the next step be in performance enhancers? I was thinking cams. "the two Ds are for a double dose of his pimpin"

I scaled the car a couple months ago and it weighs a ton. Im going to put it on a diet but I still want a full interior car. And even if it still weighs 2000lb, with 200hp (with NOS) it has a good ratio. I have heard that you can get 150hp out of the A series without too mutch problem and if I do it right it could take a 75-100 shot. Thats even better!

My reasoning is I would rather do a little bottom end work now rather than have to get another block after a meltdown or other mishap. And I have to buy an engine anyway cause mine is the A12. As I have said before I want to put a hidden 50-75hp NOS kit on it and it just makes good sense to build all of a race engine rather than half of one. That is why I asked about pistons and other internal whatnots.

It may be a whyle till I get around to buying crap for it as I dont have alot of disposable income. I will probibly end up buying an engine fairly soon to dissasemble and work on. I looked on flebay and only found a fiew overpriced engine parts. So where do I find said valve springs? And should I look around for forged pistons and other internal whatnots?

You know noob Ive been thinking the same thing. I was told that the A14 was the motor to do an A series with but I like the torque. If I can build an A15 with the same HP and more torque I would like that. I would also like to Hide a 50-75HP NOS kit on it for added fun. I guess the best thing to do would be to post in the engine section for more info on this one.

See now Being from a MOPAR family, I like torque! My only questions are: How mutch lower is the redline? I can easily take my stock A12 over 6000! Where it looses power. Can anything be done about the redline? i.e. Valve Springs. How mutch power can I add by say shaving the head, lumpy cam, valve springs, Port and Pollish, Bigger pistons, Weber and maby a better flowing intake? You see, I like the A series engines and I am not sure why. Maby my obsession with the 210 goes deeper than I thought!

Thanks guys that will make it easy. Is there a demmand for the 4 or 5sp A series trannys? I plan on getting an A15 and a 5sp for mine but it seems like there are alot of the A series 5sp trannys.

I have a 79 210 with an A12 and a 4-sp. I would like to get a 5-sp but I DONT want a dog-leg. I have been looking at Pull-A-Part and want to know if there is a easy way to find out if the trannys I am looking at are dog-leg or not. There is a fiew and none of them have shift nobs on them so that idea is out the window. Thanks Dave "Pumpkn Operator"

Yea it was pretty crazy man. My shoulder hit his pass fender and popped out of its socket. I was told I did a full barrel rool in the air and landed ten feet away in the street. The good thing is that when I hit the ground it popped my shoulder back in. No need for an ambulance! The cop asked me if I was wearing a helmet and I replied "Not on my shoulder! I didnt hit my head." All said and done I am having the guy buy me a new front wheel cause it is FUBAR! I guess the phraise Crazy things happen Crazy people is correct.:drool: "Keep Your Stick on the Ice!"

Im still around. Been hella buisy workin at a used car lot fixin minivans! What a pain in the trunk! Had surgery and whatnots. Moved in with my old lady. Havent even been workin on the pumpkn! Sometimes I wish the motor would just pop so I would have to put something else in it, the rain makes me lazier.

I cant believe I missed that 610! That thing looks sweet, and I have so many questions! What is the setup? Are they both in the front? Share cooling system? I have some plans for a twin engine car, and it makes me think...Leave it up to another mopar "nut" to come up with something cool like that! Oh did I mention my dad and I made a front wheel drive 68 Barracuda Fastback?

I will be down there for sure! That sounds like fun! I Do Not Like to drive around without a fender! And my hood is bent and crinkled! Grille smashed and bumper bent! Looks far to Ghetto for my taste.

Got ran into by a 17 year old kid yesterday. He was driving a lifted toyota truck. He turned left infront of me, he was going the other way. His dad came down and payed me off. Now I need a right front fender, hood, grille, and bumper for mine so if any of you guys know where I can get those pannels for my rouneye. Let me know. Right now Im rollin around fenderless!
