What area is That area? DAMN! My car is SWEET!:D Never thought I would say this but it looks foolish with flares! I was gonna try to keep it off the ground, but Icehouse was right! ALL cars look Better on the ground. Now I gotta measure my front springs to see if I can swap out 510 springs like I did in the rear. Cause the front springs are Way to soft for that significant of a drop.

She saw me doing my post flight check in the parkinglot and asked me to check her tranny fluid. The thing that I will alwayse remember is that she told me "Dont worry, I was both handsome and handy!" Thinking back I probibly should have asked for her number!:D I use that line all the time! The color is Rustoleum Orange (Hence the Title) Had alot of fun painting the pumpkn and am now fairly content with its outward appearance. Time to work on the suspension! Looks super long without the stripe Should I paint under the bumper black or orange? I think orange. I was hoping that someone would use the last photo and photoshop to show me some other stances, different stripes and maby what it would look like with flares. I know if it was up to Icehouse it would be on the ground! Cant wait till the next local meet to show off my handiwork. So I painted the rest of the body today and it looks good. I only painted 2-3in on the sides of the roof. Not sure why. Around the tail lights in the back and the valance pannel over the bumper are flat black. Painting the valance black was my pappys idea. Hope it looks as cool as he thinks it will. Yes Really! When I first got the Pumpkn I took it to the scale at my old work, and it was at 2020lbs with the stock steelies. The sloted mags, with lug nuts, center caps and tires were way heavier than the bare steelies.

Just wonering. My 210 is under 2000 now that it has 5 mags. The stock steelies are heavier than I thought they would be.

Where did you get the mirrors and how do I find a set? They would look super sweet on my 210.

I am a Mechanic at a car lot and have a lawncare buisness called "Dr. Greenthumb"

The scoop is off of a crappy 80s mustang. The SVO had a functional scoop. This one is off of a 4cyl crappy one. But it was $8 at pull a part!

My plan is for it to have the same side stripe as it has on it now that continues all the way to the front. I think that will set off the scoop and the side mirror. I was also tossing around the idea of blacking out the side window area and tinting the windows cause I really like that one window type look. We will see though. I cant wait for some more sunny days to paint the rest of it!

The problems with the carb are as follows...the throttle sticks at half, and also will not idle at half warm. Both of these things only happen every once in a whyle. (a Whyle = 2 weeks) And all Im looking for in a cam is a little more lift and duration. Just looking for a little more pep for until I get the A15 built.

Got almost half of the Pumpkn painted with rattle cans. Looks pretty good! Definately better than being 3-tone! The pics were taken when it was overcast so the orange looks duller than it really is. It is WAY Orange!

No silly! It has the stock cam in it, and I want a performance cam to put in it till I get my A15 built. With the 510 rear springs, it seems to have a little more get up and go. If I can get a decent cam for fairly cheap it will be even more fun to drive. Im having carb problems and Im gonna need to get a weber anyway.

Now that Ive done susp. work and started to paint the pumpkn, I was thinking that I should put a cam in it and a webber on it. Anyone got an A12A cam laying around for sale, and/or a webber and adapter kit for my 79 210?

I like the look of the stock bumpers, but they stick out too far! I drilled holes in the bumper shocks to release the pressure, then kicked them in about 2-3in. They look WAY better that way(In my opinion) I also put self tappers in the shocks after sinking the bumpers to lock them in. Here are pictures of my 79 before and after I sumk mine. Wish I had a better before pic so you could really see how far they went in. I am planning on cutting off the lip on the bottom of the grille to show more of the top of the front bumper.
