  1. I have my old taillights but I'm hanging on to them just in case. I'm not sure if those are repros from Thailand. If they are they're pretty good. Only thing about them was the plug is backward so had to switch it around but otherwise fit and work nicely. Mine were fine but one of the sockets needed to be replaced. I was told a 90s Sentra socket would work but then I came up on those and went for it. Love them! The gaskets also come with them so that was extra nice.
  2. That's because you got some lazy arse that didn't want to look. I've encountered that. All Nissans are tapped into the same system. I was looking for something and one Nissan said they didn't have it. Another looked (or pretended to look) and said he didn't have it then I called another and not only did he find it but he ordered it. I believe I have the part number I'm just not at home to look it up right now. I've got part numbers for a lot of things. If there's something else you're after let me know cause chances are I've already done the leg work for it when I was doing my resto. I have a bunch of part numbers for things. If all else fails try that one on ebay. It's for the trunk. It is aftermarket so you never know until you get it what kind of quality it is but I did get some aftermarket door stripping from atomboys on ebay in Thailand and it was just fine. I'll PM you a part number for the trunk if I find it and when you call Nissan give it to them and see what they say. If they tell you they don't have it I'll give you my contact here and he'll get it if it's still available. I'm pretty sure there's more. He generally says if I've bought the last of something.
  3. Oh yeah and when you search ebay also search for B310 cause that's what our car is known as in other parts of the world.
  4. datsunlandsocal has nothing for a 210. Nissan still has weatherstripping for the trunk. A bit pricey but they have it. I bought some a few months ago for my trunk. There's also some cats on ebay selling it in Thailand but I don't know how good it is. I believe if you also go to ebay Australia there's some guys selling some for the 210. Just remember they call the trunk a boot and the hood is a bonnet.
  5. If it's the headlights you're after you can order from rockauto.com.
  6. Anyone headed to the Portland South Pick-n-Pull this weekend that can grab some stuff off a 210?
  7. How is it that a spider can always cast that single webbing across a walkway so it always hits you right in the face? There's a spider on a fence post somewhere laughing.

  8. Saw this in West Hollywood today
  9. Oh and rockauto.com may have some stuff as well. I just bought a spare speedo cable, door locks, ignition lock and door jamb switches from them.
  10. Some parts from Nissan directly and a couple of things from oem-surplus.com. 76k miles! That's amazing. Someone's selling a '78 B210 out here with 57k miles I think it was. I believe the listing is gone now. I was thinking about it but I've got no place to put another car. I did have Stanley painted again and the rims and wheel caps are junkyard finds. I made the 1/4 panel emblems cause you can't get those anywhere anymore unless someone just happens to have a set which is pretty miraculous. I actually found one a few weeks back that was tucked in between the windshield and back dash of a 210. Perfectly intact with the 4 posts to push into the fender. I'm thinking about making a mold of it. Just need to get around to it. Some of the stuff I got from Nissan was the dome light, fuel sending unit (I got the last one), temp sensor, oil sensor, glove box (but no door), window cranks (but ended up getting metal ones from a yard off a 720 and a 210), hood latch cable, trunk weatherstripping, passenger side door weatherstripping (last one), auto shift knob (the 720 works with the 210) even got a hood rod clip and some rubber bumpers for the gas door. I also got early model Sentra door hinge pins and bushings which work on the 210. The pins need to be modified a bit but work and the bushings are brass instead of plastic like the 210 has. You can also get stuff on ebay from Thailand. I got new taillights, new metal window cranks (the 720 works with the 210) and door weatherstripping (aftermarket but was good). I believe I've also seen the round headlight pans you're looking for on ebay. There's some boob on there trying to sell the square headlight frames for $80 a piece. Freaking clown. They'll never sell.
  11. Stanley got an interior makeover. I've had him for nearly 24 years now and I was finally able to get new upholstery and little by little finding plastic parts to replace the ones that were cracked or broken. 8 months in the making but he's looking good now. And you'd be surprised what Nissan still has new.
  12. You can probably get one from rockauto.com. I just bought one for my '81 210. It was $8 and some change.
  13. Aside from the link djlotus left I also saw this one selling parts: http://providence.craigslist.org/pts/3641538310.html. You might want to check in with them too.
  14. Oh ok. Well if you end up doing it I'm still interested in the headlights.
  15. PS If you do the swap and you're interested in selling off the headlights, frames with corner lenses hit me up cause I may be interested in buying them if they're in good shape.
  16. You will need the hood as it has a different shape than the '80-'82. 1979 hood 1981 hood You can see the cut of the hood is different on the '79 around the headlights. It also has different lines on the top of the hood than the '81. There may be a build thread in here where someone has done it. Someone asked the same question some time ago. Read through this and see if it helps. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/26617-210-front-end-swap/
  17. Potholes suck! I went around one a couple weeks back that was so big I swear my Datsun could've fell in it. I hope you're able to save your rim.
  18. A few things. I saw a pic of the car on the site Dguy210 posted a couple weeks back. Looks like it may have the same interior color as mine. I still got your number. I'll send you a PM with a short list. Thanks!

  20. Anyone going to the Portland Pick-n-Pull? Might want some stuff off the 210 that's there.
  21. I'm just going to walk the earth you know like Caine in Kung Fu.

  22. Almost forgot to give a shout out to vex210. It was nice running into you and I'm glad you got to see the dash you sold me installed. it looks great!
  23. Hey Angela, it's actually in another thread in Events. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/46530-datsvintage-jdm-swapmeet-car-show-in-anaheim-ca/page-6
