I can totally adjust the speed on the fan I've got. It doesn't just switch off and on. Still haven't had time to work on it. The tech half of this operation has had to work Saturdays. Four weeks left until JCCS so we're going to have to get on it.

The box says Kit-Car Air Conditioner for model 510. Also, call up Nissan and give them that part number. They should be able to tell you what year and everything.

Angela, it would be amazing if that a/c worked. My mechanic was out promoting his other business and he just got back. I'll be working with him to see if there's anything I might need. One of the other mechanics I work with alot there says it looks like we got everything. I'm hopeful. Seeker, dude you ain't lying about needing those drinks. That was a long day. Stanley has been in the family longer :) And the husband realizes I love Stanley more and he's ok with it. At least he says so... :confused: We've been busy these last few weekends so haven't been able to see about modifying the Ghetto Breeze to something better. We got 6 weeks til showtime so hopefully we can get on it soon.

Ok ya'll went junkyard diving this weekend as a couple of 210s popped up. First one I went to had a/c in it. Hey now! Spent a few hours pulling all the a/c elements. My husband helped man handle the parts out of there. Pretty sure he wants a divorce now. But I got a/c....sort of. I'll take everything to my mechanic after JCCS as I suspect it will take quite a bit of time to see if I've got everything and it all works. I'm thinking something will need to be rebuilt, remanufactured or something. This is exciting though.

Ended up driving behind this one on the way home from the junkyard today.

1980 210 hatchback in Santa Fe Springs LKQ. I took the a/c parts and the antenna. It's pretty haggard otherwise but some decent body parts. There is apparently a 210 hatchback in Wilmington LKQ but I didn't bother going there today. Spent a few hours pulling the a/c unit out of this one.

Very cool. My husband has something in mind to maximize airflow. We'll have to work on it and see. I had the Ghetto Breeze 600 in the passenger seat with me and it's much better when it's blowing on you that's for sure. Need to work something out so we get the same with it in the back seat.

Hey Angela how did the deluxe work for you? Mike, I do have those window screens to help block out the fireball that is the sun. My next project needs to be fixing the board backing the back seat. It's beginning to crumble. Then I would like to sound proof the car and if doing that it seals up and keeps the heat out all the better. I do want to get to Canby. It'll be great to meet finally meet you and all the other guys and gals. And maybe I'll have the cooling situation handled.

I've got Stanley registered for JCCS so he should be there. Yeah Matt, total disappointment. I'm sure we'll do some more work on the Ghetto Breeze 600. It'll probably be hot again for JCCS.

Wow nice score! :thumbup: Not easy to find emblems in that kind of condition. The one I found I used to make my own set.

Ah ok. First, last and only time I went camping it had restrooms but no showers so I brought a gallon of water and a big bowl for sponge bath purposes. I may have to consider that as an option. Thanks again for the info guys! Very helpful.

That's good to know. Maybe we'll just trailer him with the truck then. Stanley just got a new tail pipe a couple years ago so there will be none of that. I may have to look into tent rentals. I wouldn't sleep leaving him alone. Does the camp area have restrooms and showers or just restrooms?

Ok thanks. We're also considering a small motorhome or something then we'll stay on the camp grounds. We got a year to work this out :) I would have a hard time leaving Stanley unattended anywhere.

Well we're seriously discussing bringing Stanley next year. I don't think I'll drive him up though. Most likely will trailer him in because Stanley is a pretty teacup princess. And so am I so I"ll probably get a hotel. How trailer friendly is the area? I was thinking if we got a hotel we could leave the truck and trailer there and drive Stanley into the fairgrounds but if we couldn't leave the trailer at a hotel I want to know if the truck and trailer can be brought in. Since this thread is still open thought I'd ask :)
