  1. It's been so long I honestly don't remember. It was a big ole pain in the booty though. I think it was always something in the middle that was holding it up. It may have been the vents/hoses keeping you from getting it off. Make sure those are disconnected. Here's a pic of where all the screws should be but it sounds like you got them all.
  2. We were out chasing the Icee van on Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood
  3. Saw this pickup in Glendale yesterday.
  4. Old lady driving this Mustang. Was in pretty good shape.
  5. Red 1980 210 in Wilmington LKQ. Front and back windshields are gone as is quarter glass. Fairly stripped inside. Grille was busted. Body was fairly decent. A few dents here and there but nothing terrible. Had weird taillights on it. It’s an automatic. Didn’t get any pics but here’s a couple from their site.
  6. Ok kids I need help. I'm thinking about changing Stanley's seat covers. If anybody with a 210 sedan has original covers can you post pics or just send them directly to me of your seats front and back? I went through this entire thread again to see if seats were posted and really only found one. I also found a site that showed pics of a very mint 210 hatchback which is where I got the below pics from. I'm digging this and am thinking vinyl with tweed. But before I completely make up my mind I'd like to see what else is out there that is stock.

  8. Oh I would've ripped someone a new hole if it had been more than what they said. It was already expensive. It came out nice though.
  9. LKQ Pick Your Part - Wilmington, CA '80 210 Hatchback
  10. I went down there with Stanley and showed them what I had. Shit was expensive but it was done right and it fit back in perfectly. I also received a written estimate. I didn't have any problems dealing with anyone. They were all quite nice. Just know that it does take a while. I think they had mine for 3 months but I did get it to them before the holidays of Thanksgiving and Xmas.
  11. I had mine done at Just Dashes. It came out pretty good. I was a little disappointed that they couldn't quite match the color of my interior but overall a good job. They'll cut the tax if you pay cash.
  12. 13. Ok I thought that might’ve been it. I really needed to be pushed around in a stroller.
  14. There was a Ford there? Did I take a picture of it? I must’ve been really high on meds. I know I wasn’t hardly paying attention to anything.
  15. Almost forgot. I had Baby Groot in Stanley's rear window. Solar powered. Cracked me up every time I looked at it.
  16. Saw this a few days ago in the parking garage where I work Saw this Bel Air this morning at Bob's Big Boy
  17. I found out the day he passed. We only chatted on Facebook a couple of times. Would've been nice to meet the guy. So very sad about this. RIP Datsun brother. ?
  18. I'm sure someone will respond with exact location but in the meantime I posted a PDF of the user manual and service manual here: Hope it helps.
  19. This white guy pops up a lot because he's my father-in-outlaw. They love it when I call them the out-laws. 1:1 scale Tim Ming's Baja 1000, 1070 Honda N600 This was Honda's first race car effort. Built for the 1970 Baja 1000, driven by Bill Robertson Jr., and Dave Ekins. Unfortunately it did not complete the race. A failure in the CV joint drive hub snap rings caused them to come apart when the car would jump and become airborne. Robertson was driving in the race and every time this happened he would get out and shove the hub back into place to go a bit further and have the same problem. He kept doing this until, exhausted, he threw in the towel.
  20. I didn't get as many photos as I usually do so forgive me. I got a migraine Friday night and was still trying to ward it off Saturday so I was rather doped up on migraine meds so my give a shit wasn't really there. At least I wasn't hurting thank goodness. Everybody knows Stanley Leonard's beautiful blue 210. His new seats were gorgeous. This car is coming along nicely. I love it! Ed's roadster finally came together. Great job on the resto!
  21. Thanks! And you're welcome! I hope it gives you at least a little bit of relief.
  22. I just got Stanley out of the shop this afternoon. Driving away and find out my turn signal won’t work. Had to go after work and get bulbs. I still need to wash him and get stuff together. Oy! I hope you make it tanker.
  23. Just found out we lost a Datsun brother. RIP Dave (pumpkindave).

  24. So I read there will be some freeway closures. The 710 being one of them. But I read that it's supposed to be next week but they really don't give a date so I'm hoping they mean next week for real. Caltrans crews will close lanes of the Long Beach (710) Freeway between Atlantic Boulevard and the Pomona (60) Freeway overnights starting next week. Between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday up to four northbound lanes from Atlantic Boulevard to the Santa Ana (5) Freeway will be closed as well as the Atlantic/Bandini boulevards and Washington Boulevard off ramp and the Atlantic Boulevard on ramp and the connector road from the northbound Long Beach Freeway to the northbound Santa Ana Freeway. Up to four lanes of the southbound 710 could be closed from the Santa Ana Freeway to Atlantic Boulevard as well as the Washington Boulevard on and off ramps, The Atlantic Boulevard on ramp and the Atlantic/Bandini boulevards off ramp. The 710 Freeway closures Friday will last from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday, officials said. So you might want to just keep a lookout on the freeways for any road work this weekend just in case.
