  1. Do I even need to recall some of the things you've already said? I hope you find a radiator. And it explodes.
  2. Just discovered the google search feature in search bar. Saves me time from going to google and typing all that crap. The more you know!

  3. My Exhaust I find this a Fabrication Win
  4. And then I made a temporary exhaust At least I hope it's temporary. Chances are it will be there for years. this ugly hunk of shit is factory exhaust. It was the size I needed plus free clamps! working with what I got yo Better than a coathanger! It's pretty hard to see. When I get a better tip I'm gonna bring it out a few inches. Don't hate.
  5. I didn't have a gasket so I had to use GASKET MAKER to make a GASKET Lay off me and my RTV :poke: It will all be good when it cures and I come at it with a razor.
  6. New shifter It can be removed quickly for emergency bashing.
  7. Made some progress today. Big Thanks to Squatch for bringing me a cam and helping me with assembly. NGP plug wire set and Tru-Tech Distributor Cap. The are both great quality and I definitely recommend the NGK plug wires.
  8. Radio faceplate. Piece of crate and a side marker ring. Still needs nuts and knobs.
  9. All I needed to see was that Hydraulic E-Brake. Ultra cool truck. Had no Idea that guy was local.
  10. Is it possible to swap my manual choke for an electric choke? The manual one is all sloppy and now the piece that screws to the cable is spinning on the shaft. If it's possible then I have $1.50 for anyone than can send an electric one. There is 2 extra wires on the harness that goes to distributor and solenoids. I know one is for A/C and I figure the other is for an electric choke.
  11. the ultra simple fix I never would have thought of
  12. Engine is assembled. Squatch saved my truck. Lost the bolt that goes through the top of the thermostat housing. Broke the two lower right 10 mm timing cover bolts. They're gonna have to wait till tomorrow. Too tired to do any more and battery is at a friends.

  13. Couldn't have done it without Sasquatch and his sidekick! When I can afford to do a rebuild the head will be dipped, bored, and surfaced.
  14. That's gas in case you're wondering :poke: Tie rod ends http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carcode,1210239,parttype,7428 Like guy above said. Some 720s had tilt column and they might interchange.
  15. Hitachi? Check the wire to the Anti-Dieseling solenoid. It's teh screw in solenoid on the back of the carb near the linkages. The wire on mine was broken near the solenoid and it did the same thing. Pretty sure it's that cause if it was electrical then it would never shut off.
  16. Headgasket is ON With a nice layer of coppercoat. The block ahd some bad pitting. Can't wait to fire it up.
  17. Saw a 1200 in my driveway. It was being driven by Sasquatch.
  18. I thought about Helen. Haven't been to German town in years. Killer photo op at the burial mounds.
