  1. Its a fuel filter not headlight fluid... I can never find that stuff!
  2. Click on multi-quote on whatever ones you want to quote. Then before the fast reply section on the right click add reply.
  3. Lol I was joking... I guess I should have put some sort of emoticon.
  4. Judging by his other cars, this might turn out OK. My fingers are crossed though...
  5. Yeah, that was my main troubleshooting without pulling the car apart. I figured with tired fuel system and the angle... I wasnt getting any gas. Ill check it in the morning and see what I come up with. Time to break out the Haynes and find the filter.
  6. I was thinking of going with a plastic 16gal fuel cell, wally 255, Fuel Lab FPR/filter, and and all Russell ProClassic lines. Its a big much right now, but it will give me better fuel regularity, a higher capacity tank for cruises, and gets rid of all the old rusty gunked up stock lines. Plus I will bea ready for any future power adders I may decide to throw a the car. It might be too early in the build for these kinds of upgrades.
  7. Checking the filter couldnt hurt. Im not when it was last replaced.
  8. So I ran into a bit of a problem this morning with my Datto. I go to pick up some lunch for me and the little girl and the car starts, but after I let it idle to warm up it decides to die. Now, when I picked up the car I was warned that I shouldnt get too low on gas or else the car might think its on E even though its not (though that was a trick my parents use to play on my when I first started driving )... So Ive been watching the gauge and it seemed like I was fine. Putting the car to ACC gives me just under 1/4 tank, but it still seems like the engine is fuel starved. The car is parked on a slight hill with the engine lower than the tank. Ive never owned a mechanical fuel pump vehicle, so Im not sure if thats the issue. I know on previous cars Ive had, that if I was low on gas and parked on a hill, it may not get gas. Two questions: 1). Does this sound like my problem?- the slight hill will low gas. 2). Would a Walbro 255lph fuel pump solve my issues?
  9. Ill just leave this here... http://fuckyeahselfshooters.tumblr.com/
  10. I guess they thought it was easier to add onto the front instead of cutting into the firewall. This is just another reason for owning a classic ute.
  11. Understand all. That seems to be the way of a lot of things online. Ive been on multiple forums and its always the same. If it takes being the pusher for this then maybe I can get off my lazy ass. I just didnt want to step on anyones toes... especially if one was already in the works. Ill just drop the subject until I have something a little more concrete. Thanks for the info!
  12. You should offer to buy the junkyard... then you get first pick of the cars they bring in there. 1. Buy junkyard 2. Acquire mean ass junkyard dog 3. Set fire to metal barrels for hobo warmth 4. ??? 5. Profit
  13. I dont know If Im down with the Super Saiyan fusion on the kouki headlights, but the rest of the updates are sweet. Sucks about the brackets... though once you get them installed, rear discs will be nice.
  14. That seems a little sardonic... but Ill take it. I meant no disrespect, just curious about other designs. I think a contest could be fun!
  15. Welcome to the site, your car is really clean. Looks like you lucked out just like myself when picking up our current rides. Cant wait to see some updates.
  16. Is there plans for a new style tshirt?- maybe a slightly most stylish version lol It seems theres a few graphic designers on this forum, maybe there could be a contest. Just a thought.
  17. He works on everything really... A lot of DSMs go through the shop, but hes got the knowledge to do everything. Hes had two Mk IV Supras, hes building a Hachi for drift season, hes got a 74 Celica waiting to be restored, and just had a Mercedes in there for a general tune-up service. Hes really knowledgeable on basically any car (though only EFI it seems), has amazing fabrication skills, and an all around stand-up guy. I just built him that website actually so hes still getting things situated with it. Theres not much info on it, but with his busy schedule its hard for him to keep updating it. Lucky hes started to pick up with it and I hound him all the time.
  18. Is that like a face painting booth?! I want a butterfly...
  19. Yeah, when I Google Map'd it, I was excited to see that I didnt have to take the 5 the whole way. Cruising backroads through Shelton will be a nice change.
  20. Good to know. These are positive offset so that should help...
  21. The wheels I bought were previously on a 510, though I fully expect that I may have to roll my fenders or use a bit of neg. camber. I appreciate the concern, but I shall have to see once I get them... Luckily it's only wheels that I bought and I'm not "rushing" into a 2JZGTE swap or something crazy hard and expensive. Hopefully all goes to plan, if not then I'll learn a valuable lesson I guess.
  22. So Im randomly surfing the Interwebz looking at Google Images for certain images of 510's. I see one thats the same color as mine and since I have never seen another the same color Im interested. Looking at the photos, the car is from the same state, Oregon. I look at my plates and turns out its the same exact car. These photos were taken in 2010 for a blog called Old Parked Cars. You can view the entry here. I just thought it was interesting. Nothing real too new to report until I actually have the parts, but I did get confirmation numbers for the shipping on the rims I bought and I bought another set of items that should hopefully be here for the meet/cruise this weekend. Ill give out more info once I get everything in the mail, which I think will be cutting it close because I believe everything is suppose to show up Friday.
