  1. Just seems like there's no room for a nut on that front bolt. It's obviously been done before though... Just seeing how gorgeous those brackets are makes me want to go rear disks. Got to start piecing together a kit.
  2. Drooling Looking over those brackets again, can you put nuts on those center two bolts? It doesn't look like there's enough room to thread anything on...
  3. Those look far better than what I can create with DQs shit measurements. I'd love to make a run of those Josh.
  4. Damn... I was typing that I was going to show up, but remembered that it's my Reservist weekend. Have fun without me guys.
  5. I'll admit the mt AT has been a bit neglected. I keep meaning to do a fluid change as well as check on my rear dif. These pictures are a bit of a butt kicker in the right direction for me. I'll get it done soon.
  6. I was on mobile at the time I posted that and neither your side info (location and cars) nor your signature shows up. You can pick up new weatherstripping from Datsunland SoCal for a decent-ish price. Thats where I got mine, and am very happy with it. Some of the other places have had reports of very stiff rubber where its very hard to close the door so make sure you buy from a good place. Some people do not like Datsunland's attitude and refuse to buy from him, but Ive had zero issues the handful of times Ive dealt with him. YMMV
  7. Shes really not a huge fan of that kind of styling, but I am... and thats why I thought of this one haha. I keep throwing wagons her way that I wouldnt mind working on/driving.
  8. A customer gave you free bandannas?! No way! :frantics:
  9. Not my best work... well since this is my first 3D model I guess technically it is my best work, but usually am much better at things in general like this. Im sure with better dimension on the drawing I could have come up with something nicer.
  10. My girlfriend has been looking for a wagon project... I wonder if I can convince her to drive one of these.
  11. That sounds more like a solid price. I will say that it fluctuates based on full/empty schedule but usually Im just honest... hey Im pretty busy, but can do it for x-amount... its a bit more than usual prices, but its because you want one thing when Im dealing in bulk right now. I will say right now, that Im still learning. Im just trying to take on as many smaller gigs as I can to help me get better. Just in the few things Ive done so far my quality has rose exponentially. Now if I could only get this SolidWorks down. They sent the shop retard to the class last week so Im hoping that I can convince them to send me.
  12. What are the brackets made for?- 280zx? What did he mean by not the greatest?- not the greatest quality material/craftmanship or not the greatest accuracy in dimensions?
  13. Im designing a 3D model as we speak lol I found it in the DQ archives on Google Docs. Edit: WIP Theres actually very few dimensions on that drawing to make a proper piece so its a little harder than I thought. Plus Im new to SW so that doesnt really help.
  14. I guess we shall just have to see once all the parts show up and I bust out the calipers. Then we can get some concrete numbers. Thanks for all the research Mike.
  15. At a bare minimum they would be different P/Ns based on different bolt patterns... even if they are the same thickness and diameter. I know youre a sucker for specs so I will take plenty of pictures and make sure you get all my findings.
  16. Then Im going to infer that if an L20b was made available for the B/W the thicknesses would be identical with only the holes being of different quantities. Thanks. I guess all I can do is make some spacers, pull the engine, and see if they fit... its that or wait until I can get a few dimensions from someone with L20 auto spacers.
  17. Psh I know those costs all too well... Ive needed braces since I was like 7; finally got them at 25. Well if you dont want cash, we can play the swap game again. Im sure theres something in the future youll want that I will have. Worked out for the struts and springs deal. At least let me pay for shipping.
  18. Sweet! I would take the full B/W set and would love the spacers for the JATCO if you dont mind pulling them (Im sure you would eventually since I dont think you want to run an auto). PM me how much you want for everything and Monday is fine. It doesnt even have to be that quick as I still need to pick up the L20; Im just trying to be prepared for when I do (fingers crossed before Bluelake).
  19. Ok, then I only want the B/W spacers and will just make them the same size, but 6bolt. Can you compare the JATCO 5bolt vs. 6bolt and see if they are the same size? I want to make sure theres no length differences between to two so that when I make a set based off my L16, they fit when I bolt it up to the L20.
  20. Theres dimensions in there? Hmmm maybe I can bust out some brackets at work... I should read DQ more often.
  21. hahahahahaha lol at the Ratsun salute. Jun! Youre back. I love wagons with racks, so the more the merrier I say.
  22. Thats what it sounds like... no studs and an inch thick would be cake. I talked with Brody about his design and based on size, the raised lettering will not add any real added cost to the job. Its the application thats a little more difficult, but doable.
  23. Thats crazy! I can make wheel spacers in about 15 minutes... a bit longer if you want the ones with studs in them because I would have to tap the holes.
