Unless youre an Australian member, I wouldnt recommend ordering from there. Looking over the products, they seem available through other stores that are Stateside. Shipping from AU will diminish any kind of "savings" that site might have.

That only proves what I said... it won the East African Safari rally (which changed its name to Safari Rally in like '95) which is a singular race in WRC grouping of rallies.

Lol the East African Safari Rally was in Kenya. It was a rally leading up to a WRC Championship race, but there were no championships until '77 for drivers... just manufacturers. Full WRC Champions 1974 Championship by individual race

Its because its different. Its the same reason that you have Bluebird-U stickers on your car... it doesnt make the car any more or less aesthetically pleasing, its just different.

Mike and Sick are right... sometimes life sucks, but you have to take the initiative and do the leg work to make it better. I spent 7 years in the Navy doing computer work and still couldnt find an IT job once I got out. I finally got a call back a few days ago after looking for over a year. If life sucks that much, join the military... they will take care of you. And if you are scared to do that, become a Reservist. You get a monthly paycheck, will still help with school, and you can maintain most of your civilian day-to-day. There are always ways to make life better. I just went through a similar situation as you, and its just turning around now. It takes some effort.

I think even on this site, $500 is going to be tough. That price is well over the price for any other grille other than a real plastic one and the '69 SSS Coupe grille. I know its about a 3rd of the price of the real thing, but its still high. I wish you luck though... looks like youre going about making them the correct way.

People say that, but you have to remember that its not like people with only $100k are buying these. Its people that have enough money to blow that kind of budget on just the motor and still have plenty left over to buy other cool things. Youre thinking like a poor Datsun owner. Hell, if I only had $100k I would ration it out too to make sure that I could maximize the money to fun ratio. But the truth is, the people that own OS Giken parts like that arent worried about the cost of anything.

Ill raise my hand as being part of the ones not interested in fake grilles (or wheels as Hobbes talked about), but I wont deny that Im sure you would sell a few for those that dont care about having Nissan factory pieces.

Is that the new design for the belt sander? Looks good! Although I left my machiinist job (and the Solid Works) to attend school, Im lucky enough that the school has an industrial design program. What the means is I can still use the SW software and even have access to a 3D printer for a few projects I was looking to do.
