    Looking For Rims

Look like rally/blazer rims and dog dish caps.
  2. Post a WTB or go to junkyards. I dont think sourcing one from overseas is your easiest or cheapest option.
  3. No spark on any of the plugs? If you have power at the output of the dizzy, then the only parts left are plugs and wires.
  4. If you dont mind me asking, where did you go for blasting and what did it run you? Whenever I get to the paint step, Id like to go all out and do the entire shell like yourself.
  5. I dont think that at all. Look how long its taken for the micro to really exist here... there are probably less than 5 models here in the states and none of them have really wide appeal. Everything in America is rooted in "bigger is better" (except technology). Its only been the last couple years where this generation has started to embrace cars like the new Fiat. Foreign markets a flooded with tiny cars. It all stems from their tiny roads where larger cars wont fit, but its now a part of their culture it seems. Micro cars are the thing overseas.
  6. This is my exact feelings. The US seems to be the only country that hates these micro cars. This body style is everywhere overseas and seem to be whats the market majority. I can understand that the design will be hated here, but this isnt a car thats coming here... so theres no reason to manipulate the design to appeal to a US market.

    710's unite!!!!!!!!

7/11 also likes to give out free Slurpees on that day.
  8. I know there are size restrictions and has to be less than 100lbs. I hear people have success with GH.
  9. I have a Dir en Grey album I've had for like 6 years now and still have yet to listen to it. A friend gave it to me and I didn't know what it was. Guess ill give it a try.
  10. For what's it's worth, I had a complete 69 510 dash shipped for $27 from Cali to Washington. Something close could be a decent price.
  11. Maybe with the wagon rear axle it's a little different. I have 8J +12 in the rear and when "tucking" in about 2mm away from hitting the rim with uncorrected camber. I also haven't touched the door bump yet. It would be nice to fit a 9J so I'll be watching to see if you can actually do it. Fingers crossed!
  12. The composite sketch pictures were updated in another Resurection thread by myself earlier this month.
  13. Nope. Never had anyone confused on my use of the word. Here's my point: (Not to pick on your method of fixing your dash, because in use it works perfect for your needs) If you read an ad online for a Datsun and one of the details was "restored dash and door panels." What would you expect when you showed up to make a purchase? You'd expect factory condition pieces. I would be extremely upset if I showed up and the dash was covered in Shoe Goo and boot polish. In addition to that I'd be upset if it was recovered in vinyl or leather or really anything that wasn't the stock looking pad. I'm not saying any of the methods are wrong, just not restored. But all this is off point for OP. There are plenty of good options now mentioned for him to fix his dash pad. Good luck!
  14. How are you fitting 9J in the rear?
  15. Welcome to over a year and 7 threads ago...
  16. Anyone is entitled to use any word the way they see fit. That doesn't change the actual definition of the word though.
  17. Restore would be return it back to "from factory condition."
  18. Its $1200 to restore a 510 dash pad.
  19. Maybe if I win the lottery, Garage Bluebird can be a west coast distributor for your metal panels :sneaky:
  20. A bad vibe? Hes like 13... dont try to backpedal from your poor attempt at humor. Back when they were good:
  21. Someone who acts an idiot behind the wheel "having fun" by driving crazy. Its a mixture of the Australian word 'hoon' and the word 'hooligan.' Basically any of the new breed of wannabe racers who cause trouble in the streets by pretending to drift.
  22. Seems to be a rookie question for someone with so many 510s...
