cheeks
that's what I was thinking but it just doesnt twist or anything so I didn't know if the whole harness came with it which I doubt. also is it just the 2 bolts on each side that support the dash? Quote Link to comment
71-521
Don't remember on the dash... I just checked my spare gauge cluster to double check and it just pulls off... I thought there was a catch on it but couldn't find one on this one's wiring... it might have been broken off though... good luck! Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
Cheeks if you need any motor help lemme know..723-6235 or just PM me. Im sure Buck [so. bay datsun]can help you out too if it needs major work. The L motors are easy to work on so dont give up right away. The body looks good that bumper is a big score! The cluster has a big plug in the middle, just wiggle it back & forth to remove. Should be 4 or 5 bolts holding the dash on after unhooking the harness & cluster. Quote Link to comment
Icehouse
Nice rig, wow what a score. Yes the gauge cluster plug pulls straight out. I'll pm you about the mirrors when I get a chance today. Quote Link to comment

mklotz70
don't forget that you have to unscrew the collar on the speedo cable for the cluster to pull out. Quote Link to comment
cheeks
Well got the rest of the interior out and the wiring harness on the engine removed. Should be able to pull the motor this weekend. I just need to find someone to media blast the body while we build the frame. Quote Link to comment
