datzenmike Posted February 21 Report Share Posted February 21 Two horizontal J shaped torsion bars under the rear windows with the bottom of the Js overlapping in the center. You'll have to use some form of lever to force the C end away from you and slip a piece of rubber (like a piece of tire tread) in where it pinches and normally would rest. You may only have to do one to get the extra torsional force to hold the lid open. Quote Link to comment
