Stoffregen Motorsports Posted August 24, 2023 Report Share Posted August 24, 2023 Most people mount the stand to the block in a very tall position. It is much safer to lower the engine on the stand so the pivot point of the stand is as near the center of mass as possible. This makes it much more stable. That's ready to rock weight. NOT! The BS weight LS guys post acting like they are light haha. Maybe a little less since it doesn't have a crank girdle. The 71C weights about 70lbs.
