JumboFett
Hey y’all, Is a 210 cylinder head worth picking up for any performance application? Like, could it be a good head to practice home porting and polishing? Thank you Quote Link to comment

I thought there was a better article about the heads but this has the same info.... https://datsun510.fandom.com/wiki/Nissan_L_engine_cylinder_heads Quote Link to comment

Stoffregen Motorsports
There was a re-cast 210 head that is sought after by SCCA ITC racers. It is referred to as the "TK" head because it has a small oval with the letters TK in it. The casting should be on the right front side of the head, by the fuel pump. If it is a TK head, it could be worth selling to a racer. Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
Now that I think about it, I think IT classes have been nixed... Quote Link to comment

The 210 head had a combustion chamber of around 38.5cc so a closed chamber would be a lot smaller. Symbol looks like Hitachi? Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
No, the TK was a direct replacement, but since it was recast in a more modern era, the castings were more consistent and the ports were better. The TK chambers were just like the North America market heads. Much like the V912, recast and better quality. Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
I wonder if that head you pictured is a Japanese market L13 head? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Could be. One of the guys on The Realm has or had an L14 510 I wonder... 1 Quote Link to comment
