datzenmike
Won't add 3" but will allow you to turn the torsion bars for 3 added inches. Hopefully without horrendous camber issues. Quote Link to comment
butter fingers
hello , has any one tried an after market upper control arm ? Headers on my 720 don't excite me , but an upgrade on the front end does . I don't need 3 " of lift but 2 " would be great if my camber didn't go crazy out of wack ! B F Quote Link to comment
bottomwatcher
Been running these since about 1991 when they came from Jim Conners racing. Crank them to three inch and it will ride like shit. 2 inches and an add a leaf in the rear levels the truck. The static camber can be set with a bunch of shims but don't make height changes afterwords because your camber will be wonky. Also don't install these and cheap out with reusing ball joints and other front end parts. There aren't many other options for suspension on these trucks. They did make ball joint spacers at one time I wouldn't combine them. I have 31s combined with a 2 inch body lift. Still needed fender trimming to prevent rubbing. 1 Quote Link to comment
butter fingers
Thank you Bottomwatcher ! i plan on staying with my tires (235/75/15) because i like the height of the truck, no loss of power and the gearing is good too. i hope all the dads have a happy fathers day ! !
