L18/20B exhaust flanges

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone know of someone who sells waterjet/lazer/plasma cut exhaust manifolds flanges for L series 4s?

If they're around, I'd like to know coz it beats hole-sawing/grinder cutting one for a turbo manifold. I've done a google search and not found anything yet.

Are you looking for the flange to the head or on the exit of the header?

Gotta be the head flanges. I cut my intake flanges out of 1/2" steel so they matched the ixhaust thickness. This is important because the 4 bottom bolts use a thick cone shaped washer to bridge across between them. This is often why after market headers leak. They never use 1/2" thick flanges and the bolt tightens on the thicker intake first.

I can't remember the name, but one of the old Datsun race suppliers used to sell custom stainless header flanges. I think it was Don Oldenberg of DP Racing - https://www.dpracing.co/

 

I've also used custom header flanges from Burns Stainless and SPD, but there are a few other custom flange makers out there. Just google custom header flange and you'll get a few results.
