If traveling far enough I would. Only because there is no regulation against bad coffee ant gas stations. They are terrible. Tims, like McDees is consistent. The one you drink in Thunder Bay Ontario is the same as Squamish BC. No buyer's remorse.

We have 2 or 3 in town but I have no reason to go there. I make the best of cheap drip coffee in my coffee press. I would make like a Biden voter and rise up from the dead and walk out of a Starbucks

Engine running? Set up the timing gun per the instructions. The timing mark is a notch on the pulley and should show in the flash of light as it passes the timing scale here. Might help to find it and mark with crayon or dab of paint...

The very top point is ZERO degrees with 5 degrees between each peak and valley.

Ignition timing is 3 degrees +- 2 degrees. To adjust there is a 10mm bolt on the distributor that is loosened and the distributor turned clockwise to increase the timing and counterclockwise to retard it. If adjusted you should check your idle speed it may go up if you advance and down if you retard the timing.

You should put your location in your profile saves asking if California or not.

I got the timing done on the first try 😁 I've got all the vacuum lines plugged off and have no idea if I hooked those three up correctly and it started right up and idled so smooth I appreciate you and stoffregen for the help on this subject.

Just thinking, the Z motor has dual coils and 1 fires on the exhaust side, the other on the intake side - the timing needs to align with the intake side - confirm your rotor aligns with the #1 INTAKE plug at TDC. The exhaust coil fires slightly after the intake coil.
