tiny
New here, wanted to start keeping track of this little project. Picked up an 81 720 in Kelowna, replaced all the fluids/filters, new clutch slave cylinder, new front bushings, and new tires on junkyard Pathfinder rims. Drivetrain is in great condition, frame is solid, body has some rust, interior is pretty mint. New front upper and lower ball joints and OEM gas shocks. Also put in new glow plugs so the thing fires up all at once. Currently my daily Day one Pre & post budget shoes 3 Quote Link to comment

tiny
First time with the cap off. Try to ignore the peeling bondo from the previous owner Quote Link to comment
tiny
Managed to pick up an intact 81 720 bed in town with enough salvageable body panels to use for rust repair on the truck. And a tailgate! 1 Quote Link to comment
ShutterMeShort
Nice find! Should be a fun one! Love a good diesel! Quote Link to comment
tiny
Christmas project. Driver's side floorpan was completely replaced at some point but not well; both sides where covered with horrible fibrous insulation that held a ton of water. Cutting out all of the bad//recreating driver's side seat rail Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Geez! Most 720s are bad around the body mounts, but that is seriously hammered. Quote Link to comment
tiny
Seat rail tacked together Quote Link to comment
